Very good service, food, and atmosphere! We ordered the sea and land with parmessan rissoto. Wow! The owner is a super nice lady and she greets and sits you.

“A very good little place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

A wonderous collection of tapas is the star of the menu. Fresh ingredients, great taste and never the overpowering garlicky taste of the zone, which is good. Try the stuffed mushrooms! You can't go wrong with those. But watch the portions (a bit small for hungry appetites).
The main courses are somewhat a repetition of the island fare (traditional chicken, churrasco, mofongo team) but the manposteao rice is a killer. One should have that on everything!

The restaurant, operated by the owner/chef (a star on the rise, for sure), has great atmosphere and a good selection of wines and local craft beer. Prices are standard for the zone, and its worth the trip from anywhere in the island.

Overall, Ole Lelolai is a great little place where you can dine, chat and enjoy the fantastic Fajardo bay either on sun or moon light.

However, it is a difficult task to find seating during spring break anywhere in the Fajardo area and Ole Lelolai doesn't do any better than its competitors. Wait time goes for about an hour since there seems to be a lack of interest in the local patrons and the waiting area does not offer other alternative than just to sit down and look around while waiting for your table. Call for reservations.

Also, the staff needs training, love and pride for their own restaurant; from the hostess to the busboy. my party of five had a difficult time having our ticket checked and paid. The waitress did not know how yo use the POS, and while graceful, it took her longer than acceptable to have the bill split and done.

We will definitely recommend it hoping the details are corrected.

In conclusion: go, taste the food and enjoy the view. I will.

“Great place, great view, great service, great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2013 via mobile

This place in not cheap but worth every $.
Family of 4 with tapas, main course and a shared dessert got to $100.
The place overlooks the ocean and we had a full moon which was amazing.
Tapas were all very good and the seafood paella was amazing.
Make sure to make a reservation as this place gets full fast.
The service was amazing (even the guy taking out the trash helped me park and told the hostess we arrived)
Great place for a family or romantic dinner.
They have a small children menu that was perfect for our 10 year old.

“Nice place.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

We were recommended to eat here by our waitress at Passion por el Fogon. We were seated quickly and easily. The patio provides a great view, with a few mosquitos - but nothings some pre-dinner bug spray couldn't handle. We tried a couple of the local beers they had on tap. My husband got the stuffed chicken, and it was alright. I got the shrimp mofongo, and it was great! Overall it was a pretty pleasant experience.

“My first visit was superb. I came back and it was a perfect replay.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

I first visited this great restaurant in mid February, 2013. My family and I were very impressed with the service, ambiance, food, and prices. Please see me review of February 17 entitled "Definitely the Place. Don't miss it. It will be your loss". Well, we came back today. Once again, we had a magnificent experience. This time my wife had lobster, risotto was perfect, all appetizers were deliciuos, desserts were fantastic, great atmosphere, and a beautiful view of the bay. And last but not least, our waiter, Maelo, was a great host. This place is a must.
