We stayed at the Royalton and decided we didn't feel like leaving resort to go into town to get some real Jamaican food, then found out about Leon's Lobster Hut. We were skeptical at first, but got a recommendation from another guest of the hotel and from some of the solicitors along the beach. Make sure you make a reservation the day before, and leave $10 pp so they can buy the lobsters. We went for lunch on Saturday and thought it was fantastic. The lobster was delicious - halves were grilled with garlic and butter, with three types of grilled potatoes/sweet potatoes. Best food we had on our trip, hands down, and probably the freshest lobster I've tasted. The post I saw about Leon being a fraud is absurd. He's an honest businessman setting up a beachside restaurant, where you can see him cooking your food for you. And the post about not being worth the price - where else can you get a whole, fresh grilled lobster served to you at the edge of the Caribbean by true Jamaicans?
Don't be skeptical, go to the edge of the beach, tell them you want lobster, and they're take care of you. You have to walk across the public beach with shops and solicitors, but if you're not interested, just be polite. There's also a little beach bar next to the restaurant where you can grab a Red Stripe for $4. Not bad in my opinion.
