“Quiet, comfortable accommodation”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

This guest house close to Bonifacio is run by Brigitte and her brother Phillipe. Brigitte is a charming and helpful hostess and although the guest house is more like a motel with separate cabin type accommodation, it is set in beautiful peaceful surroundings with a lovely garden and attractive swimming pool. The usual French breakfast of baguettes and jams, juice and yogurt is served in the garden and it is only a short drive to the old city where there are many restaurants to choose from for lunch and dinner.

The pictures on the site are the exact reality: perfect! We chose this location for our honeymoon and we do not regret it.
The rooms are exquisite: comfort, cleanliness, quietness and space, with a little decorative touch from the owner. You are made to feel welcome and special.
Because the weather was still warm when we went mid-September, breakfast was served outside under the oak trees. Very good selection of products.
You cannot hear the main road and the busy traffic of Bonifacio and you feel totally calm and refreshed when you leave this peaceful retreat.
Brigitte, the owner, is welcoming and smiling all the time. Despite her busy schedule, she still finds time to talk with her guests. She and Philippe are discreet but around if you need them for information.
The garden is so beautiful that you do not want to venture outside the busy world. They have arranged private outside spaces where you can lounge and read a book at your leisure. The swimming pool is very attractive and no chlorine is used, so no risk of itchy eyes when diving.
Location wise, this place is around 10 minutes from the city center. The road can be packed in the morning going into town, but following the advice from the owner, you can find shortcuts to help you around.
The beaches (Sperano and Santa Manza) are literally around the corner. Sperano is our favourite: clear blue sea, sand and diving centre. On the beach you can find a little bar where you can sip the local beer in a very friendly and laid back atmosphere.
All in all, we recommend this place and we shall return there.

Visited Corsica with a small group in May, looking for a good jump-off point to tour the southern end of the island. Found it at Villa Rach Gia. Just outside of Bonifacio, so easy to get in and out there or Porto Vecchio, but no worries about noise or parking. Left the pounding nightclubs of town one night, wondering how anyone could sleep in such a racket, and went to sleep peacefully at Villa R-G to the sound of crickets. Price was good value for the area, where we have stayed before many times. Good-sized rooms, goodsized beds, large bathrooms. Bright, adjustable lamps by the bedsides made reading -- sometimes a challenge in hotel rooms -- easy. Exceptionally friendly hostess added warmth and charm.

Room Tip: Beds are bigger than they look in the pics. More like American kings. Folks not wanting to share a...

10 mins by car from Bonifacio, 5 mins from Maora Beach.
This lovely b&b has 5 outside rooms all tastefully decorated in a traditional style. The small pool and sunbathing area is a little haven of calm, ideal for relaxing after a day out and about.
Breakfast in the garden under the trees: bread, brioche, jam, yoghurt, juices, coffee and choice of teas.
There is also an outside lounge and kitchen/ dining area.
The rooms have air conditioning but its too noisy to leave on all night (but its fine if you cool the room before you go to bed and use the fan during the night).
There is tv and tea & coffee facilities in the rooms and a fridge you can use in the main kitchen.
Brigitte is lovely and will help you with anything you need to know.
I definitely recommend staying here without hesitation!

What a fantastic spot this great B&B is placed just outside of Bonifacio. Highly recommendable! Small B&B of high quality and standard – beautiful garden and rooms – with a stylish twist. Service and breakfast was really superb! Breakfast is served in beautiful surroundings in the garden. Brigitte our lovely host was a truly gem - she was so kind and helpful. She also provides great recommendations to her guests for the best beaches, restaurants etc. in the area. Everything is clean. Rooms are lovely with smart interior. In addition you will have access to a swimming pool, free parking and free WiFi!
This is a great choice if you plan to stay in extraordinary beautiful Bonifacio - you will certainly not regret!

We enjoyed so much Villa Rach-Gia, it is a very nice property. Large garden (with many relaxing spots), comfortable and cozy accommodation, warm and kind welcome (Brigitte is the perfect host ). In the room we had coffee and exquisite tea facilities and in the garden, near the pool, all kind of syrups.
Very good location with rapid access to surrounding beaches, even to the ones closer to Porto-Vecchio (extraordinary Palombaggia, Santa Giulia). Every night we went out to Bonifacio (3 minutes driving away), a spectacular and animated small town, perfect place to enjoy coastal views and Corsican good food and wine.
I highly recommend the morning trip to Lavezzi islands as well as walking “on water” from Piantarella beach to Piana island, it’s a really nice experience.

Located just 5 minutes from the busy port of Bonifacio this B&B was perfect for us to base ourselves for our 7 night stay on Corsica. The room we had was large and well equipped with AC unit and a bathroom with a huge shower. Rooms at Villa Rach Gia are decorated in simple but very stylish way, with lovely little shaded seating areas where guests can socialise, read or use the complementary Wi-fi.
The owner, Brigitte was so hospitable and very informed on what to do and see on the island. In addition there was a number of books and leaflets available to read through yourself.
Breakfast were again simple but delicious comprising of bread, local jam and yoghurt, all served with Corsican fruit juice.

Room Tip: Whilst we stayed in room 3, and it was very nice, all rooms are located around a central courtyard s...
