“Historical, Beautiful Architecture and Interior”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2012

This is a very huge church with both beautiful facade and interior. Also, it is a wonderful piece of Ilocos history. Very accessible to the center of the city. Worth a quick visit:)

“Beautiful!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2012

I love to go to places with historical value especially when its well reserved. The cathedral is rather beautifully kept in my point of view. One could imagine a romantic grand wedding taking place by it's old altar. It's a symbol of faith in the province of Ilocos.

“Solemn Place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2012

I went here on the last day of my Ilocos Norte Vacation. The place is very solemn and I like the way they did not entirely demolish the tridentine altar. Hence, they incorporated the "retablo" (multi-storey/column altar) in a way that it would not destroy any significant value and style of the pre-vatican 2 church interior.

“300 years of history”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2012

Love the massive church. Restoration was not restoration for its previous looks too modernized.

“Beautiful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2012

So much history. Beautiful church. A must see. The parking area was a bit congested, but it is located in the middle of town and there is a parochial school next door.
