“Once again, a perfect stay at the Desert Pearl!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2010

This makes for our fifth stay at the Desert Pearl Inn, and we have yet to be disappointed. Service, cleanliness, bed, pool, convenience to the National Parks in Southern Utah - this place is the best. Looks like they did some updating on the rooms and bathrooms over the winter. Everything is freshly painted and spotless. We'll be back again! Thanks for another great stay.

For a 2 night stay, looking for a convenient base for Zion, this place is excellent. Park shuttle bus stop right outside. And where better to get over the day's hiking than beside the river that runs at the back of the hotel with more cliff views from the lawn? Clean, spacious, within striking distance of a microbrew restaurant, comfortable bed, and helpful staff to provide information about how to overcome an annoying local road closure.

Don't get me wrong, the Venetian in Vegas is very nice. However, Desert Pearl Inn (DPI) rooms are just as nice and half the price. I don't know that I should compare the two for example purposes because I think they offer totally different atmospheres. In the end though they're both in the lodging business so I'll compare this five star hotel to Desert Pearl Inn.

DPI doesn't have concierge but they do have a friendly front staff that is very knowledgeable, friendly, and seemed to genuinely want to help make your stay/trip all it can be. I don't know if they have room service but I don't think so. The rooms do however have Starbuck coffee and a nice kitchenette for extended stay. DPI doesn't have an elevator to the second floor but consider the steps to the second story very short compared to the trek you have to make at the Venetian just to get to the elevators. DPI doesn't have Bellhops but you can park just outside your room.

Where the Desert Pearl Inn is located, the way the buildings are arranged, the beautiful landscape of the hotel (not to mention the vistas), the impeccably manicured grounds, all make you feel very safe, comfortable, relaxed, and rejuvenated.

This hotel was so nice we hope to return from the east coast just to spend a few days relaxing at the Desert Pearl Inn.

Every thing you have read about this place is true – this hotel is an experience out of the ordinary.

I am writing this as I sit on the patio looking out at the beautiful tree surrounded river with the cliffs in the back – words can’t describe the beauty.

We have spent the afternoon walking up the river and tubing back – be sure to buy some floating devises before you come as this was so much fun and the river is warm enough to swim in.

Yes there is some noise from the room above us, but I would not trade as the experience of being able to walk right out to the grassy area and river it is just so amazing.

And between the buildings there is an apricot tree with ripe apricots – yummy.

Please ignore the people saying it is far from restaurants, the first diner is at the other side of the road and there is at least 5-7 restaurants in less than a 5 min walking distance.

My sister and I loved our stay at this great hotel just outside zion national park. The rooms were large and beautifully decorated with a porch that looked out onto the river. It was hot and after hiking at zion in the morning, we lounged by and swam in the large swimming pool. The store/cafe on the property has snacks and coffee, and the shuttle bus that takes you further into town and into the park stops right in front of the hotel. This is a great find, and I've already sent many friends and family here, and they all have loved it.

We did a trip through SW-US, and the Desert Pearl was our second stay during this trip, and we immediately loved it. Upon arrival we noticed that the staff were superfriendly and helpfull. The room was very clean and complete, microwave, flatscreen, coffeemaker, fridge, dishwasher, ironingboard , separate bathroom with bath/shower & restroom and the view was also great. We stayed there for 3 nights, and were sad to leave. We would go back without any doubt. The Inn also has a nice pool and jaccuzi, close to varous shops and restaurants, you don't even need your car as the shuttlebus picks you up next to the entrance of the Inn.

For the whole trip of a week, we stayed 2 nighhs at e DPI. It was as great as all the other reviews. We were poolside, so we didn't have he beautiful view, but we didn't stay long in the room or chairs. The pool was great and he location was excellent.
We will go back.
