I feel almost like an outcast for daring to make a few suggestions. I hope these will be interpreted as constructive. Yes, this property is worthy of its accolades as the always "full up" response to recent reservation requests attest. We booked into a brand new wing (the 600 block) and were given the upper floor. In the room was a huge 42" flat screen TV and state of the art climate control. The problem was that no one in the front office could explain how to operate the remote for the climate control or which channels were availabe on the TV. Given the majesty of Zion, why would anyone want to watch TV??!! There was also the problem of the overhang blocking much of the view of the mountains that so many reviewers love. When we book into the hotel next time--and there will definitely be a next time--I will request a lower room so that the roof does not obscure the view. One contributor mentioned the outbreak all over Utah (it was in the papers) affecting pools. There was a small warning posted on top of the front desk. I am frankly surprised there was nothing posted by the pool area. I only hope that this situation has improved and that the pool is once again safe. Please check with the local heath agency. The whole room was spotless and shiny, especially the bathroom. What's also refreshing is the attitude and outlook of the guests who stay here. I've never seen such happy people!
