What an excellent B&B. Nice comfortable clean room. Pleasant staff. Nice patio area outside your door where you can eat breakfast that arrives packed in a basket and delivered at a time of your choosing (A nice selection of orange juice, coffee/tea, eggs, bacon, muffins, toast). More that enough to set you up for the day. Location is right
opposite the bus stop to Zion, the gas station (with store) bank and restaurants (see my review of Oscars though before you go though!). I
would definitely go back.

Stayed overnight at the Red Rock Inn near the end of our driving holiday (Phoenix-Las Vegas). Springdale is a gem; the scenery, the shops, the spas, it's quaint, village-like size and it's central location to several national parks!!! Staying at the Red Rock Inn certainly contributed to this positive impression!

The overall property is small with a handful of 'cottages'. These are paired and stepped up the hill in close proximaty but with screenings between them they are very private. Ours had a lovely mountain view, high ceilings and coordinated attractive decor; the furnishings were in pine. The bathroom was large and well appointed with lovely 'hotel /spa' travel sized products and coffe/tea sachets. Their unique and wonderful 'catch' (besides the separate cottages!) is room delivery of breakfast in a beautiful wicker picnic basket. It was this feature that led us to try out RRI (vs a hotel or other B&B) and we weren't disappointed!! :-) A fabulous, abundant, hot breakfast (thank you Blythe!) that we enjoyed on our front patio area, created a wonderful memory!

We found the RRI provided a great balance between being welcoming and intimate without being intrusive. Loved it! And can't wait to return to Springdale!!!

    • Disliked — Hard pressed to say! The ceiling fan rattled, and for us the bed could have been a wee bit more comfortable; but that's such a personal choice matter.

There are four rooms and a cottage. We had the cottage which consists of a small sitting or living room, small bedroom with queen bed, TWO baths, one with a tub, one with a shower. The cottage also has a small yard and sole access to a hot tub just beyond the yard. Very nicely appointed, two robes, slippers, nice furnishings and toiletries. We liked the two apple trees in the yard which were loaded with apples when we were there and made a memorable treat. The sky is very dark, even with "skyglow" from the Springdale surroundings, and was great to see from the hottub (fenced, private). As with most places in Springdale it was an easy walk up and down the road which leads to the Zion park entrance to shops and restaurants. Almost everything of interest in Springdale fronts on this street.

Located within walking distance of nearly all of Springdale's restaurants and shops. Comfortable beds, delicious breakfast delivered to the cottage, plenty of shade in the courtyard, and wonderful hosts. Our room had a whirlpool tub that was perfect for soaking after a long day of hiking in the summer heat. The breakfast was delivered in a picnic basket and included a carafe of coffee, a carafe of orange juice, hot eggs with spinach, muffins, and yogurt. The room also had a small refrigerator and a coffee maker. We didn't use the coffee maker (see "carafe of coffee" above) but it was nice to have that option. Since you have a tiny little cottage all to yourself, there is more privacy than at a traditional B&B. Each cottage also featured a patio with some chairs and a table - perfect for cooling off and relaxing at the end of a hot day. If we don't camp on our next trip to Zion, we're definitely staying here again.

This little inn was such a treat...

- All the perks of a B&B without the "people factor". We didn't have to worry about being noisy in someone else's house, and better yet, we didn't have to suffer through trying to make bleary-eyed conversation with strangers at the breakfast table!

- Chocolate and cookies in the room waiting for us. Chocolate makes me and my hubby very, very happy!

- I enjoyed the simple but stylish southwestern decor. Some B&B's "overdecorate" for my taste; not this one. It was peaceful and pleasing to the eye. The only thing that seemed to be missing from our room (or even in the office) was a microwave to heat up our dinner leftovers, but that wasn't a huge deal. We did have a mini-fridge and a jetted tub.

- You know the breakfast is good when you're laying in bed at night and find yourself looking forward to the next morning because you want to see what's in your breakfast basket! The food was wonderful. I don't even LIKE eggs, but the egg dishes were to-die-for, especially that burrito thing that we got the first morning. We loved it all! If you were to go to a restaurant, that meal would easily set you back $25, at least! Better yet, I got to eat breakfast in my PJ's on our patio while watching the hummingirds.

- Loved the beautiful landscaping, yummy-smelling soaps and shampoos, quiet atmosphere, convenient location, friendly staff, on and on and on. We did NOT want to leave!

For the price we paid ($112/night), the value was terrific for all that we received. We could not have been more pleased with the Red Rock Inn!
