My friend and I stayed at Under the Eaves for five nights. It was a gamble since I found it through my search for B & B's at Zion National Park. What a fabulous discovery. Firstly, it was much better than staying in the park as I originally planned. Springdale is sweet. We did not have to use our car. There is a free bus that takes you to Zion entrance and shuttles throughout the park. (great preservation). Back to the b and b.. Our room was private. It had its own entrance and we could leave the door open and see and smell the array of flowers outside our door. The best part was Steve, our host. We gave him the name "guido sensi"...Everything he suggested...restaurants, favorite items of the menu, hiking trails, scenic rides........was perfect.
We would start out a bit slow in the morning ...having coffee and sitting on the swing surrounded by a fragrant garden.. I just loved the house.
Zion is amazing and we did daytrips to Bryce. Steve even sent us off to the less popular Kolab Canyon which was outstanding. He also suggested the out of the way town of Grafton...where Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid was filmed.
The location of the B and B was great. Awesome place, awesome hosts, the most amazing land of red rocks.. GO!
