“Very nice stay, great owners!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2012

We stayed in the hikers room in the garden. It was a small but nice room. There was a great bathroom with a bath. There is no airconditioning but there are fans so it is not hot.
There is WIFI so you can check your email or surf on the internet.
the owners are very friendly persons, they give you advise on zion and springdale.
The breakfast at Oscars is great! you just need a snack in the afthernoon.

There aren't enough words to describe it.From the very beginning when I contacted them by email, the owners' response was warm, friendly, helpful and efficient. They recommended the room that suited our needs best and were absolutely right. When we arrived everything was ready. They had sent driving recommendations and directions by email, so we found the B&B easily.
The owners were so kind and generous, they gave us all sorts of recommendations about what and where to find things in town:shops, equipment, restaurants.. as well as how to get oriented in Zion, the weather etc. The room, in the attic, was awesome: very large, like a large family apartment, with a double bed and 2 single beds, each on the further ends of the apartment, with curtains that separated the sleeping areas. The whole "apartment" looked like it was out of a fairy tale: wooden polished floors, high slanted ceilings, antiques, lots of tasteful details..There is a dining room area, with a kitchenette, with oven, sink microwave oven, cutlery and dishes and a fridge. The coffee they provided was high quality, and coming from Europe, we appreciate this. Air conditioning worked perfectly. The windows overlook the garden and there are nice views of the peaks. It is conveniently situated accross a shuttle bus stop, with restaurants and shops a stone throw, and a large, health food supermarket accross the road where you can get great salads, fruit, drinks and much more. To sum up: it's hard to find a perfect place, but this is just perfect in everything.

Spent 2 evenings at Under the Eaves. What a charming place. Mark and Joe do a wonderful job of making you feel at home, the information and little details from the confirmation emails and travel directions (including the local speed warning in order not to cost you more on your trip) to the information book and restaurant guides and local shops when you check in. We stayed in room #4 which was charming a comfortable, yes it was smaller than we where used to but still very comfortable. We where on the go most of the time so we did not have the opportunity to relax in the beautiful main room or enjoy the front porch swing and the view in the evening (to many hikes to accomplish in the park with Angels Landing to be done before the Sun and Heat hit hard in the August days! And trying to beat the throngs of people on the Narrows where big reasons) However was able to enjoy relaxing evenings on their wonderfully manicured back yard garden area in the chaise lounge and chairs while sipping wine and watching the stars above the mountain backdrops! The breakfast vouchers to Oscars where a nice touch to allow you the ease to plan early morning exits to Zion which was huge for us. Both nights when we returned we where greeted very warmly and offered assistance in dinner decisions and reservations if we required. Marks recommendations where to rent gear for the Narrows hike was spot on and made our hike even more rewarding. A warm thank you goes to Mark and Joe in making our 25th wedding anniversary trip to Zion a vacation we will remember for a lifetime! Would definitely recommend a stay at Under the Eaves if you are visiting Zion and Springdale Utah.

We stayed here for one night while seeing Zion NP. We got in at 7 and the owner Mark recommended a great place in town for dinner. The room was clean and we had a great night's sleep.

Breakfast at Oscar's was great and included with the price! Definitely one of our best stops on our cross country trip!

Was the only person staying here mid-week. Felt like I was visiting a friend's house, not staying in forgettable hotel. Mark was a great resource and answered all my questions about the park. Breakfast at Oscar's was outstanding! What a great idea to let guests choose whatever time they want to eat. Only had time for a one-night stay, but definitely want to come back!

hard to add to the long list of endorsements except to say that this is one of those extremely rare B&Bs where you actually feel like a guest in someone's home rather than a client in a small hotel. Location is perfect for visiting Zion, shuttles stop just across the street, very good selection of restaurants within walking distance. Rooms are small but very nice, perfectly clean and have a very "homey"feel. The living room and porch are the perfect spot for morning or evening chats with other guests and your very laid back and friendly hosts. Breakfasts at Oscars are great. Thanks Mark and Joe, we'll be back.

We stayed a week in three different rooms since we made our reservations when they were already almost booked. We loved it and were very sorry to come home. Our favorite spot was the cabin, detached from the other rooms and beautifully decorated. We also stayed in a smaller garden cottage which was very pretty, and the huge room on the second floor of the house. All the beds were comfortable. We turned off the A/C at night to eliminate the noise and opened the windows, which was very comfortable. Mark and Joe were very welcoming, and interesting to talk with. They gave great local advice and their website is excellent. Guests are given tickets for breakfast at Oscar's next door, which gave us time flexibility and a choice of anything on the menu. A terrific idea. We'll stay there again on our next trip to Zion.

Room Tip: The cabin in the back is private, has a wonderful view of the garden, a gorgeous shower, and a king...
