“If you think you've stayed at the best B&B ... guess again. This is it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013 via mobile

First, if you find anything wrong with this B&B, you must be extremely picky, and need to get a life. Stayed for 5 nights (4 nights in Hidden Canyon & 1 night in Angel's Landing). Mountain views from all the rooms are spectacular. Breakfast served daily at 8 a.m. (unless you make special arrangements), are two courses, fruit dish or parfait and perhaps a frittata, waffle, omelet, or French toast, all gourmet style. Whatever it is, you won't be disappointed. All the meals are served with French-pressed coffee, tea, and juice. Believe me when I tell you, we never ate a lunch in the area, because of the large breakfast portions from the morning's meal. Your hosts, Larry & Liz West, and their good friend Mychal, will attempt to meet your needs. One dinner restaurant I would highly recommend is the Whiptail Grille, within walking distance of the B&B. Reasonable pricing, great service, tasty food. A "free" town shuttle is available to take you right to Zion National Park entrance, where you can ride the park shuttles, also free. We never had to use our vehicle, as long as we were in this area. Remember, life is what you make it, and it's short, so make the best of it ..... less complaining, more enjoyment! Hope you find this helpful, when you make your decision.

That massage chair was ah-mazing.

A beautiful welcome on arrival. A cute little friendly dog. Stunning surroundings. And a room like no other I've ever stayed in (Angel's Landing). The bath (understatement) was lovely with a view out the window to the canyon walls. The little circular window was neat. And a Romeo and Juliet type little balcony looking across the garden to the canyon walls.

Breakfast - no words. Perhaps spectacular? We had grapes with 'thingee' (whipped cream type of concoction) followed by yum waffles.

You can see from the ratings that you should stay here. No further investigation required. But one tip: Make it longer than one night!

I won't add to the heaps of praise from other reviewers, but I will add a couple of possibly helpful tips. First, it's not all that easy to find. The sign for the "road" (driveway) and for the B&B itself are completely hidden by a bush if you're coming in from the park, and the inn itself is at the very end of the driveway, not the first house on the left. Second, be aware that the breakfasts are served family style at 8 am. They're wonderful and it's fun to chat with other guests, but it's not your usual help-yourself-between-seven-and-ten buffet. If you do need to leave earlier than 8 am, I believe that you can make special arrangements.

I don't know why this isn't the number 1 B&B in Springdale.
We stayed here for two nights in different rooms around a two day narrows hike. It was so much nicer than I was expecting from the photos; custom built to be a B&B centered around the guests (rather than fitting you into the owners home) and filled with gorgeous objects collected by Liz.
There are lots of comfortable sofas and books, a massage chair and pin ball machines.
We stayed in the rooms with balconies which are wonderful for sitting out on and watching sunrise / sunset and the stars.
The breakfast is beautifully cooked and every little detail has been thought out.
It makes for a wonderful and relaxing stay.
It is also extremely convenient for the Zion Shuttle bus and the Zion Adventure Company.
We will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Room Tip: Hidden Canyon was my favorite room - large, beautifully decorated and with a large terrace perfect f...

We enjoyed our stay here, the facilities were nice, there was easy access to the park, and the breakfast was yummy. Unfortunately, we didn't find the owners to be very warm and one was even pretty rude on multiple occasions. It's doubtful we'd stay here again or recommend this place to others. If you are just looking for a nice room and good breakfast, it's probably okay.

What a way to get away from the bustle of Vegas. Our only regret was not staying 2 nights. Hosts were welcoming, informative and full of recommendations for treks, walks and visits in the gorge and in town. Breakfast was luxury. I would suggest many visitors either come back or recommend this gem to others.

My husband and I stayed in the master room for 2 nights. We loved it here. Not only is the location unbeatable, it is a beautiful property and well-run B&B. The place was very nicely decorated and kept, as well as impeccably clean. We were greeted by Mychael who was very pleasant and made sure we had everything we needed. The master suite is a large room with a king bed, very comfortable. The bathroom is also large, with a double sink, shower, and jacuzzi tub. There is a private porch overlooking the garden as well. The breakfast (we had 2 different meals) were amazing and indulgent, and plenty of food to fuel our long hikes. Overall a great place and I highly recommend staying here!

Room Tip: I have heard some of the rooms are smallish--the master is huge with a porch overlooking the garden.
