“Zion Adventure Company - Bike/Hike Tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2013

The folks at the Zion Adventure Company have everything you need to enjoy all that the Zion National Park has to offer. My wife and I booked the 4 hr. hike & bike tour and we were pleasantly surprised to see when we arrived at their location that we were the only ones that had signed-up that day. So we had a personal tour of the park with our guide, Ben. He did a fantastic job taking us along the one bike trail available in the park as well as along the canyon drive. We parked the bikes for a short and medium length hike and Ben was an excellent guide: informative, personable, knowledgeable, and caring for our well being. He made sure that we enjoyed our time on the tour. The park was so beautiful and peaceful as we biked down the canyon drive early in the morning. If you can request a guide for anything you do with the Zion Adventure Company, Ben would be an excellent choice.

“canyon adventure”

went on a canyon adventure and had a wonderful time. Top notch company, friendly guides and staff, and great location within town. The first step over the canyon wall was crazy, but the ropes held on!

“Tubing was a blast, hiking shuttle great service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2013

We checked the weather the day before arriving at Zion in late May, and noted the temperature was forecast to reach the upper 80's. So we called Zion Adventure Co. (ZAC) and booked a tubing trip for the afternoon of the first day. We hike about 5 miles in the morning, had a snack, then arrived at ZAC for the 3:30 tubing trip. We rented booties for our feet, went through the orientation, and were on or way. The information was thorough and we knew there would be some risks from rocks and branches. We told that the river was starting to get low and that we would be hitting lots of rocks and that we would likely get stuck a few times. You walk across the street and you're in the river! After a 2 hour tube ride, you are picked up by ZAC and driven back.

We had a blast! Great way to cool of, and the rapids we just enough to make it exciting but we never felt out of control! Would recommend this to anyone, be sure to call ahead and discuss the river levels before booking the trip. The water level may not coincide with what you are looking for. The only negative was that a couple of people in our group stopped on their way down the river, causing us to wait about 40 minutes at the van . ZAC said the van ran every 20 minutes- the driver should have driven us back then come back for the slow pokes.

The next morning, we booked the ZAC shuttle from ZAC in Springdale to the East entrance and hiked the East Rim trail to Observation Point, then down to the Weeping Rock Shuttle stop in Zion Canyon. It was about 14 miles and we had a memorable day, had the trail to ourselves until reaching the Obs. Pt. trail. The van driver was knowledgable and cool. The other passengers in the van were going on to the drop off for the Narrows hike.

ZAC does a great job. Looks like a great place to work!

“Great Narrows Equipment Rental Co!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013

Great experience with ZAC. Their rental process was quick, simple, and informative. The video/pamphlets provided were great and the process for renting/returning equipment was painless. Thanks so much for helping us have a great hiking experience on the Narrows!

“Great Experience! Thanks Diana and Isaac!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 15, 2013

My husband and I booked a canyoneering adventure. We had a lot of hikes to fit in so we went with the half-day. What a fantastic day! Our guides were Diana and Isaac and they are such great people! So much fun and they knew what they were doing. Before the first rapel, I expressed that I may forget some instructions when I'm nervous and Diana immediately put me at ease, making me feel safe every step of the way. Both Isaac and Diana were great at relaying information and teaching us proper techniques while allowing us to feel like superstars who were exploring our own canyon. It was clear they wanted us to really enjoy our experience. They took lots of great photos for us and provided a flash drive. Everyone should do this! I'll never forget it!
