“Nice touches will bring us back!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2013

Surrounded by 360 degrees of beautiful scenery, the accommodations seem trivial. Still, glad we chose this Quality Inn for our two-night stay over the busy Fourth weekend.

In a nutshell ~ received a good rate for a clean room with a hearty breakfast in an excellent location close to shuttle stop and Narrows rentals. Just a few annoyances....the noisy a/c and conversations through adjoining door, but not enough to lose any sleep.

Special notes ~ the savory scones, the warm cinnamon rolls and the friendly staff were all nice touches and look forward to another visit to Springdale!

Stayed here for 3 nights, the room was very clean, with updated amenities, it was overall nice. We had a small issue with our shower and someone was up to take care of it right away. Breakfast was excellent (the breakfast guy is very nice, take the time to chat with him, and thank him), and the staff was attentive and friendly. The pool closes if it rains, which bummed the kids out, but oh well - it can also get a little crammed with tons of teens - they do offer up pool towels. There is a campground behind the hotel, but its very low key. River access for tubing is also right behind the property. The Springdale shuttle stop is directly in front of the hotel, but its close enough to just walk. I would stay here again for the price.

Room Tip: Building B backs up to the campground with views looking down into campsites.

We stayed here for a quick overnight stay with 2 days of hiking at Zion. My stay here was unexpected dune to a small issue at one of their other properties. Ben, the nighttime manager quickly made us feel at ease and found us a great room to stay in. He met us at the front and walked us to our room and helped with our luggage. He even recommended a hiking spot for the next day, which we ended up doing thanks to his recommendation. The following morning we met with Brooke at the front desk who was aware of our situation and was nothing but gracious and apologetic. She was so kind and went over and beyond to make us feel welcomed. She comp'd our stay for the night and then even offered to have us back in January. It's so nice to find people who truly care and appreciate your business. The hotel rooms where spacious and very clean. The breakfast and coffee was great, especially if you are grabbing something quick to head out for a full day of hiking. The Zion shuttle is right outside the hotel so it worked out great!! Beautiful views from all angles of this hotel!

This hotel has two different areas: the hotel itself and the RV area. And this is what hurts my rating because I paid for a hotel facility but I got a RV campground service. Though there were some sort of rules where breakfast were provided only for hotel guests, the truth is that many people from the RV campground stopped by the breakfast facility and grabbed stuff. The nice and hard-worker guy from this facility cannot control all the guests (and he tries).

The pool looks like a big soup bowl. Dozens of kids access to the pool from the campground with no shoes and get into the water without having a proper shower. Adults did the same so I guess that the hotel staff should enforce it and not leave some guest ruin other´s vacations.

Agree with comments regarding the noise, also no enforcement of quiet hours.

Shuttle to National Park right in front of the hotel (in fact, almost all hotels in Springdale have this feature).

We spent 3 nights in the RV park in our pop-up camper. The location is great as it is very close to the national park. Our lot was beautiful and right on the river so we were easily able to cool down and play in the water. The kids loved tubing down the river. We very much appreciated the daily tokens for showers included with our daily rate. The showers were warm but the showers and bathrooms were not very clean. The exhaust fans in the shower area appeared to have years worth of dust caked to them. There were no hooks in the bathroom sink area to hang toiletry bags so had to set them on the wet counters.
Quiet hrs. were not enforced. The first night our neighbors were up partying until 1am and the 2nd night a new camper came in after 11pm and loudly set up their camp. Thankfully the third night was quiet.
Overall, because of the awesome location and river frontage we would camp here again.

The hotel is truly "right outside" the entrance of the park - in fact, the Zion shuttle pick-up is just a few feet from the entrance of the hotel - so for convenience sake, this hotel has a great location. The campground/hotel complex distinguishes between campers and hotel guests (free ice for guests, by the bag, campers have to pay $2). So be sure to assert you are a hotel guest, or else you may be paying for something that is included in your rate.

The check-in process was efficient - note, the lobby hours are limited (7am - 10:30pm, I believe), and there are instructions on how to get help at the "other" hotel further into town that has a true 24-hour check-in desk.

The room was more than sufficient with a large flat screen television, free wi-fi, and a very comfortable mattress. The "full" breakfast (their term) featured scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, pastries, bread, hard-boiled eggs, coffee, juice, and milk. The very friendly and helpful attendant takes charge of the "waffle maker" and allows you to sit with your group rather than lining up at the waffle maker. I took the second-to-last parking space while checking in at about 5pm. I am not sure what the protocol is for overflow parking. Breakfast runs until 10:30am.

All in all, an excellent experience at the Quality Inn at Zion Park.

This was our second stay at this hotel. We were in Springdale to visit Zion NP and this hotel is perfect. It has spacious, well-maintained, clean and comfortable rooms. The staff are professional and very pleasant. The free breakfast is substantial and the same man was running the food service at the breakfast room on both our visits. He keeps the food coming and will make special eggs for those who don't like the standard self-serve scrambled eggs. There is a pool and a laundry on site which both help after long, dirty hikes in the park. The hotel also has an RV and camping site behind it that adjoins the Virgin River. It is a good spot for tubing if the water level is adequate. The Zion Adventure Company is directly across the street and is a must-stop for anyone considering hiking the Narrows (get sticks and shoes). The hotel is not cheap, bur nothing is in Springdale.

Room Tip: The upstairs rooms seem quiet. I have only stayed in B building, but I would suggest the second flo...
