“Had a wonderful stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2013

Ross is a an awesome host and took care of everything we needed. This is a super convenient, quiet location and features nice and cozy rooms. There is a wonderful collection of books in the common guest room on ground floor, as well as each room includes some of the great English literature from the past. Will surely stay here on future visits.

We stayed two nights at Novel House. When we arrived, our delightful host showed us the room we had requested (Charles Dickens) as well as others that were open so we could choose. That was a great benefit! Charles Dickens was on the front of the house on the second floor. Robert Louis Stevenson was further back on the second floor and probably much quieter. Our room was attractive, comfortable, and clean. The public spaces were likewise. We spent time in the library where the wifi signal was stronger and enjoyed visiting with other guests.

They do not make breakfast at the inn, but rather send you with vouchers to a couple of local restaurants. We enjoyed excellent meals at both places, and they were a very short walk from the inn. They do put out cookies and lemonade in the afternoon, and provide refrigerator space if needed.

Kiran was always available just when we needed him, it seemed. The inn had suggestions for restaurants and things in Zion Park. We would recommend a stay here.

We stayed for 3 nights in "Jane Austin" room and had a wonderful time. Hot tea in the evening (you can have it anytime) was a big plus since it was raining a lot.
The room was cozy and super clean, nice toiletries in the bathroom, everything one needs for comfort.
The breakfasts in local cafes were delicious, "Oskar's is a winner" in our taste.
Otherwise- tons of information from the owner, a lot of advice, very convenient location, beautiful grounds.

I stayed at the Novel House Inn for the first time in July. The rooms were so well appointed and comfortable. I stayed in the Jane Austen room and loved the decor. The owners were so friendly and accommodating. The location was ideal for visiting Zion. I plan to stay at the Novel House Inn on future trips to Zion.

Room Tip: Each room is decorated with a unique decor representing a different novelist. I recommend the Jane A...

Staying at The Novel House felt more like staying with friends than it did staying as a guest. We felt very much at home. The eating area was done so well and made us feel special when we stopped by for a drink or snack. Everything about the lodging was done first class with NO feeling of short cuts being taken. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Room Tip: Only saw one room so hard to say.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in June and had a wonderful experience. Ciaran, our host, was so friendly and accommodating. The home was beautiful, the room was lovely, and the bed was very comfortable. The afternoon Tea Time, with freshly made homemade cookies and lemonade/tea/coffee, was held in the dining room which had a gorgeous view of the mountains. The refreshments just "hit the spot" during the hot weather. Since our room did not have a 'frig and freezer, I appreciated having the option of using the small one in the dining room. The location was perfect. We didn't have to use our car (or deal with heavy traffic in the park) during our entire stay because the shuttle stop was a just a short walk from the Novel House. The town shuttle took us right to the park where we caught the park shuttle. We had two choices for our "free breakfasts." The restaurants were located down the street -- just a few minutes away. I would highly recommend the Novel House.

Room Tip: There are rooms on the first and second floor and I don't think there was an elevator. Our roo...
