“It's a cafeteria”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2013

Had 2 dinners and a breakfast. It is a basic cafeteria. Reminded us of the food court at Grand Canyon. Food was tasty if not priced a bit high. Had burgers which were good, and kids enjoyed the pizza.
Did not have the hot dinner specials, chicken and a fish dish, but they looked quite good. Got very busy one night, quite slow the next, not sure what the difference was. For breakfast best to stock up on pastries and cereal before you enter the park. Lodge guests get free tea or coffee, which was nice

“Decent but can get pricey”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013 via mobile

Breakfast is pretty good but add ons like bananas, yogurt, etc...can get pricey. Fresh eggs the way you like them, toast, vegetarian burritos, other breakfast burritos are good. Bring your own fruit to avoid extra costs.

“Food is decent”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

The food here was decent, but once again a reoccurring theme in my reviews is service. I witnessed several times a cook being rude to patrons, especially those who were did not speak English and this were having a little trouble. Not necessary!

“Poor Management”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2013

We spent three days in Yosemite Valley. Used the Food Court each day since it was convient. On one ocassion we found that they were so understaffed we were told they could not give us a pizza. All the other food stations had been closed down and only the grill and pizza stations were open at 3:30pm. Given the fact Yosemite Valley Lodge sells tours that drop off and pick up all day near the Food Court, I'd say the manager of the Food Court should be replaced. We were at the Grand Canyon last October and found the food court service really was more organized and efficient.

Lines were long and prices are high.

“So-so.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2013

The food is average at best, the prices above-average, but there aren't that many other options and this is reliable at least.
