“Fresh gluten free options!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013 via mobile

Other than it being a typical deli, they were very nice and asked if their gloves needed to be changed for my gluten free sandwich. Lots of options and fresh! Definitely going again next year after our hike!

“Typical deli.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2013

Sandwiches, quick food, park prices. Nothing special but it will do. It stops making sandwiches at 4 and closes at 5 which is too early for folks trying to cram in maximum park activities.

“Fresh made sandwiches”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

Family had 4 different fresh made sandwiches that were really good. Updated choices than just the standard sandwich but you can have them leave stuff off if you like. Some inside seating but more outside.

“Captive indeed”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2013

With it being the only place to eat, was expecting price hike, but was not too bad. However, the salad box, which looked great were not so. They were partly filled with two middles of an ice berg lettuce that had seen better days. But, needs must when hungry. One can only carry so much and when been chomping all morning, unless carrying ice cooler, this where you go for a 'fresh' lunch...
Don't expect too much, it is wot it is.....

“It's great to have a captive audience!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2013

As you would expect, prices are higher here than they would be in a normal location. Unfortunately, the food wasn't very good. They post the calories associated with each of their sandwiches, as well as the list of ingredients. They don't post the lack of taste you can expect with them. I chose pastrami and swiss cheese; the pastrami had almost no flavor, and the mayo added nothing despite supposedly being flavored with mustard. My wife's turkey sandwich was similarly lacking. If you eat outside you will be besieged by an army of birds and squirrels looking for a handout. They're fun to watch and partially make up for the mediocre food quality.
