I ate there every evening that I stayed in the cabin. The quality of the food was quite good for a cafeteria. The price was actually pretty reasonable considering that there was no much competition there. For dinner, they had a carving station where they served prime rib and roasted turkey. Besides, they also had trout, fried chicken, and pot roast. All entrees came with 2 side orders which included rice pilaf, mashed potatoes, carrots, and steamed mixed veggies. You could order the entree normal size or small plate depending on your appetite. I had the small prime rib one night ($15.95, or $19.95 for the normal size) and it was tender and tasty. The other two nights, I had the normal size pot roast and the serving was huge! That was also very good and cost a lot less ($9.95). For desserts they had fruits, chess cakes and jello. They had the regular soft drinks and bottled water, coffee and tea, beer and wine. They also had a slushy machine and the huckleberry lemonade was quite interesting. The decor is excellent, again for a cafeteria. If you sit by the window early in the morning, you can even watch the sun rise over the Yellowstone Lake!
