“If you are an outdoors person, this is the place.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

I thought there was no place on earth like Yosemite National Park and then I went to Denali. Well then I had to rethink my perspective! Now I have fallen in love with Yellowstone. The geysers, wildlife, and diversity in the landscape is amazing. I can't tell you how many times I said "this or that is amazing". If you are planning a trip to Yellowstone, invest in a good camera with a really good zoom lens. Don't forget you are at a higher elevation so 65 degrees is definitely warmer then you are probably used to unless you live at a higher elevation. Another cool element is the Park staff! We spoke with people from all over, one as far away as Bulgaria, and they were all very pleasant, respectful, and loved what they were doing.

We spent 5 days inside the Park and did a fair amount of walking so be sure to bring comfortable shoes. We were there in mid June and the weather changed rapidly from hot to rain and back again so be sure to give this element some thought. The worst thing about our time there was people seeing animals and stopping their cars right in the road. Be aware of that.

Love this place and can't wait to go back!

“World class, must-see national park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013

Not much to say except that Yellowstone is definitely one of the premier national parks in the world.... From quality game viewing to spectacular geo-thermal features to stunning mountain views to beautiful waterfalls, Yellowstone should be on everyone's bucket list......

If you visit, plan to spend AT LEAST 3-4 days. DON'T skim on this one, you'll regret it...........

“Most Famous”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2013

The most famous feature lives up to its name, as the centerpiece of the most thermally active area in the world. it varies in size and intensiity per eruption, which is about every 90 minutes.

“largest high altitude lake in the continent”

About 20 miles long. Saw some boats in the lake for fishing. Largest high latitude lake in North America.

“Beautiful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013

Our first visit but certainly not our last. So many interesting things to see and enjoy, not to mention the wildlife. It was a magnificint place to visit. We loved the geysers, mud pots, rivers, streams and lakes. Loved the wild life viewing. Driving by an area to see buffalo sparing or grazing was breath taking. Beautiful waterfalls, mountains. Yellowstone has everything for everyone! Definitely must see.
