“Good - But Pricey”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012

This is a very nice restaurant, my wife and I ate here twice. The food and wait staff were excellent. It did seem a little pricey, but we knew that going in. If you want a nice meal around the Lake area, this is your only option.

“Ok”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012

It was ok, not at all what I expected. It was a large lake, but nothing to Wooo Hooo about. Did not see any wildlife around the lake. Don't planon staying out by the lake. Just drive by, say you say it and move on.

“Awesome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012

The lake is simply beautiful. I've seen it with snow all around in early spring and this time I saw it in early fall. It invites a person to slow down, take a deep breath, and enjoy the wonders of nature.

“Yellowstone awesome park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012

This was one of my best experiences in a National Park. Very diversified wildlife, Old Faithful was eventful and thunderous at it's peak. The Yellowstone lake- deep with a mystical magic to it and the paint pots were just a palette of rich tones and colors. Seeing the bison close up where you can almost touch is a wondrous experience. This park is millions of acres and affords plenty of hiking trails but watch out for bears. If you are planning to do only this park the best place to stay would be at the Old Faithful Inn. What a place! You would have to book about a year in advance.
Awesome experience. Worth the trip.

“It is HUGE”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012

I know it is huge on the map, but driving around it? That lake is massive. We drove around the lake before, during, and after sunset when heading east and the colors of the lake as it reflected the orangy-pink-lavender sky was breathtaking. I probably took over a 100 photos of the lake and lil geysers surrounding it. It required a lot of pulling over, but it was totally worth it. Such beauty makes me appreciate that I am alive.
