Yellowstone National Park was awesome I will never forget it. We drove from Eastern PA and made many stops, especially as we got closer to the park. The most memorable moment was driving through the park around 2 AM, heading towards the west park entrance in MT. We had about 13 miles to go and then bam, we saw those glowing eyes around the bend. The herd of bison had taken over the whole road, I stopped in fright, checked myself and put the car in reverse. There was no other way to the hotel excpet to go around the park which would of took 3 to 4 more hours. So I backed up in the darkness maybe a half mileor so and hid off the road, in the car of course and prayed. I prayed for God to part the herd as God parted the Red Sea to let us pass. So after some time we went back and they were gone. The next day, in the brightness of the midmorning sun we went back and saw so many bison sleeping in the pasture after their night of mischief. We can laugh about it now and every time we think about it.
