Description: Bazin's on Church offers a contemporary American menu featuring organic and seasonal ingredients. The wine bar features a collection of wonderful wines from around the world, with an emphasis on California. Bazin's recently received the 2014 Wine Spectator Award for Excellence. We have over 400 wines to choose from. Upon being diagnosed with Celiac Disease several years ago, Chef and Owner Patrick Bazin has created an entire gluten-free dining menu. Rather than modifying current dishes to meet dietary restrictions he has created fresh and innovative dishes to please everyone's palate. Whether you too have to modify your diet or just choose to follow the gluten free lifestyle you'll enjoy these changes to our menu.

“Great restaurant to take out-of-town guests”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2012

My husband and I have been to Bazin's a number of times, and we took our visiting family members there this week and eveyone loved it. The menu offers something for everyone to like. The appetizers are small and for one person (not sharing), but the entrees are just enough. We had the snails, mozzarella and crab egg roll for appetizers and for dinner, we had the lamb shank, risotto with duck, cod, flounder and flatiron steak - all were delicious. The drinks were fresh and the wine selection was good. It is normally crowded there, and we made sure to have reservations. The salted tart and the krispy kreme bread puddings were very good as well. The food you get for the price is good.

“Make your reservations early”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

We went to Bazin's last week for the third time. On a Weds. night the restaurant was full but the food was good, the server was helpful and knowledgable. Good thing we had reservations. The food selection was very good and the wine list is long with some good wines by the glass. Not too expensive either. I would definitely go back again. On a weekend, make reservations early. We have tried before on Weds for a Sat. night and they've been booked.

“Overly fancy food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Bazin's on Church is one of those places that fancies up food, charges extra and provides an exclusive feel, while not really delivering on quality food. Sure, it looks good, and the atmosphere is nice, but it tastes just normal. Not bad either. Good place to meet some friends.

“Delicious!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012

Bazin's on Church is a welcome delight to Vienna, Virginia. It's so nice to not have to drive all the way into Washington, DC to experience a lively bistro atmosphere, creative dishes, and a wide selection of wines. Chef Patrick out does himself regularly with great menu selections that never disappoint, and his wife Julie, is the consummate hostess - always taking the time to greet guests, and make sure they are enjoying their dining experience at Bazin's on Church.

“My friendly neighborhood restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2012

Fall is my favorite time of year at Bazin's. It means time for the delicious Beet Salad, guilt free Ravioli - I never eat it in the summer - but love it in the fall - and all of the appetizers on the fall menu - and sitting at the bar having great glasses of red wine. Bazin's always has great wines by the glass- and Patrick - owner/chef helps us order favorites for dinner. You will always see someone you know- and meet someone who knows someone you know - just a friendly, consistent delicious night out!

Funny - we NEVER sit in the restaurant for dinner. No real reason - we just love the warmth of the atmosphere around the bar - and always eat there- even if we have to wait for seats.
