How about a genuine Italian restaurant that is filled with Italian cooks and wait staff? One with a wood fired pizza oven and a varied menu of other Italian dishes as well? The pizza is terrific, but you probably will want to order the entire menu when you take a look at it.
I have eaten here five times since it opened about 2 months ago, with a variety of friends and family. All together, we have sampled about half of the items on the menu. Everything has been absolutely delicious, with a few items, such as the brasciola and vermicelli con vongole, earning "best I've ever eaten" remarks. For appetizers, be sure to try the prosciutto with mozzarella, served with a balsamic vinegar reduction. the cheese is made in house. Dessert? How about some sweet kisses from Sophia Loren ? The "Baci di Sofia Loren" are little chocolate cups filled with zabaione and fresh berries that I guarantee you will love. Also, don't miss the specials. Last night's pork chop in mushroom / barolo sauce was exquisite.
The decor would be at home at many places I've eaten in Italy, the staff is energetic and friendly, and you the dress is casual.
