“Had a good time with very young ones.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

Visitors are allowed to buy honey sticks to feed the budgies and bottles of formula to feed the animals. This is something great to have such close contact. Kids love the wagon ride with all the animals walking up. Apparently there is a new cage for monkeys with more room. This is not cheap, nor is it particularly a real zoo but the under 6 think it is great.

“Kinda' Of A Downer For All But The Toddler”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2012

No doubt, if you've got kids 5-years and younger, this is an eye popping zoo. It's a hands on experience for some animals, providing a farm-like interaction. But most other may be disappointed with the small facility, dingy setting and general aura of the animals which suggests tired and weary.

“Perfect for little ones”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

This is such a sweet little zoo, fabulous for toddlers with so many petting opportunities. The most fun is the hayride - those wonderful animals come right up to the ride for treats and petting, Camels, Texas Longhorn, Buffalo.....

“Fun place for little kids”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Very kid friendly. You can easily spend a few hours here although it's a small zoo. It's somewhat surreal to see the houses around the open field where the animals roam freely. But well worth the entrance fee and watching kids interact with reptiles and petting zoo.

“Cute little zoo in the suburbs!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

We have season passes and bring our 3 year old often. They have a petting barn with sheep and goats (smelly though) you can buy food and they will eat right out of your hand. They also have an bird enclosure where you can feed the birds. My sons favorite part is the little "wagon" ride which is a trailer pulled by a tractor. it makes a 20 minute loop showing various animals (who often approach the trailer). There is a reptile house and pony rides as well. This is no national zoo but is an intimate learning experience for little ones. The only downside to the zoo is their lack of adequate toilet facilities. they have one run down flushing toilet , and the rest are all port a potties.
