“Better off at Taco Johns or DQ Restaurant”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2012

Poor and slow waitress service, long wait for order, portions small, prices high. Crowded with locals. Probably the best you can get on a Sunday night. You would be better off to eat at the DQ Restaurant or Taco Johns.

“Sometimes good, sometimes not”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2012

Over the past 4 years, the All Star was one of the better eateries, particularly since so much of Hot Springs shuts down after summer. The food seemed satifying and good quality for the price, until it wasn't. Our friends waited over an hour to get food even when it wasn't crowded. They left and wished us luck. We got our turkey sandwich and soup in 45 minutes. This time there wasn't much turkey, and the vegetable beef soup had no beef and barely any vegetables. More like salty dishwater. We might go back, but not any time soon. The chilli is more consistent.

“If you have a lot of time for marginal food and service”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2012

There are very limited restaurants in Hot Springs on a Monday night. This was recommend by our hotel/motel as one of the best. Sat on the deck. Evidently an order was spilled outside the door, and never cleaned up. Waited for service, none came, had to track them down. Ordered two bottled beers and chips and salsa and then we had the pleasure to hear the waitress talk with two tables of male patrons regarding the services they could obtain at another local esablishment. Needs a good scrub. Food marginal only had chips and salsa.

“Not many options in Hot Springs”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2012

food was fine, service was friendly and fast, adequate but nothing special. There don't seem to be many other eating establishments in Hot Springs so this is the best option in town.

“OK, but not fantastic”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2012

The ribs were tasty but there was a lot of fat and not much meat. The pork chop looked different from any pork chops we had and was quite fat. Just OK.
