I stayed here for 3 nights at $50 a night. I found it using my Tom Tom satnav and had read no reviews prior. It doesn’t look anything special from the outside but the room was more than adequate. Clean, no bugs, no smells. The reception lady was friendly and very helpful.
There are a couple of vending machines within the reception area. There’s a fast food style restaurant next door. There didn’t appear to be any other establishments nearby for eating or buying.
Not wanting to take the car in to the city centre and struggle to find parking I took a cab which the reception girl was happy to call. Cost was $14 plus tip. A return cab was $12 plus.
As always, cheap motels attract a varied custom with their battered old pickups, but there were no problems with any other guests. I would have no problem staying here again.
If I had photos I'd put them up but I lost them due to a later incident. Try Google Streetview.
I rate my hotels/motels based on the category and price. I don’t pay $50 then compare it with a Hilton and complain about the décor.
