“"2nd" tallest building”

The old tiny elevator up the last couple of flights is so nostalgic. If the elevator frightens you there is always the stairs! You get the best view of the city.

“Must See When Downtown”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

The 49th floor of Carew Tower offers an unobstructed 360 degree view of Cincinnati for only $2. Well worth the price of admission, especially on a clear day. Great for pictures, especially panoramics.

“Totally wasted space”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

I moved to Cincinnati 20 years ago. At the time, Carew Tower was full of high end stores and a lot of people. I don't know if poor management, the riots of 2001, building in the suburbs got in the way, but the place just went down hill from there. All the good shops left, all the food court restaurants left, it turned into a ghost town where unsavory folks would hang out. It's a gorgeous building, linked to the Netherland Plaza, right in the center of town. You would think they could rectify this situation. There are plenty of shoppers downtown every day, especially now that the dining scene is taking off.

“What a view!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

First time to the top of the Carew Tower on a beautiful day. The views up and down the Ohio River are spectacular. You can see the Bengals' stadium and the Roebling Bridge and as far away as University of Cincinnati. The newly renovated Washington Park adjacent to historic Music Hall is clearly visible as is City Hall and you feel like you can touch the Great American Bank building. The $4 charge is well worth it.
