We stayed at the Courtyard at Rookwood because it was the closest to the neighborhood that our son lives in for a weekend visit.
The hotel is new but is side by side with a busy freeway and an ongoing construction project. Our room faced a busy off ramp but the noise levels of all this activity was minimal.
The room and bed were comfortable but the table in the middle of the room looked like a stackable piece but wasn't and was always in the way. The bathroom had a short privacy wall between the vanity and commode that just seemed awkward. A full thin panel could have served the room better.
Check in was smooth and friendly and the clerk came out from behind the desk for that personal touch.
Lobby was modern and nice with a robust business center and hospitality area. Wish the bar and coffee area had been open later each night.
Parking lot was a bit funky and busy. The fee was waived but don't know if that was a courtesy or a gimmick. The traffic pattern in and out of the lot kept unauthorized cars out I guess but was a bit of a maze.
The area has numerous food and shopping venues which were convenient.
No real issues and felt at home all weekend. Will return without any qualms although a price special would not hurt.
