“Good brisket”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2012

Tasty brisket here and the combo deals are hard to beat for amount of food for the money. Plenty of space inside and they have been doing this for a long time worth a try

“Good not great and overpriced.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2012 via mobile

I live close and eat out often. The prices are high and the food quality needs to be much better. The service is great and good for carry out..

“Not consistent.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012 via mobile

I've eaten here twice since moving to the area. Both time the food seemed to be not fresh and the prices are way too high! The banana pudding, probably boxed is the best thing on the menu. Delicious.

“Authentic barbeque”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2012

The meat selection is good and the sides are appropriate for a place specializing in barbeque. The wait staff was fun and friendly. It takes a bit of doing to figure out how to get here, but go ahead and do it if you like authentic barbeque and you will be glad you did.

“Cold and Rushed!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

I have eaten here many a times over the years and thought we would return for some ribs and BBQ. I was really surprised at how bad it was compared to our prior visits here.
All the food was cold and came out surprisingly quick, like in a matter of minutes, which I know that they are not cooking BBQ to order, since it is smoked and prepared ahead, but this was very quick! Like the food was already sitting in the window when we ordered it.
We had two adults and a 13 year old and ordered the family type combo plate w/ two meats and added 1/2 lb. of pulled pork. With the combo we ordered the rack of ribs, beef brisket, mac and cheese and the sweet potato casserole. Not good when the sides are the highlight of any meal, not to mention the meal with two soft drinks, came up to $54.xx. We were really surprised at the amount paid for such a let down of a meal.
Their beef brisket was dry to the point that we didn't finish any, but a bite each, it was that bad.
Really surprised, but we did notice that the crowd on a Friday night was not nearly as busy as we remembered in the past, so maybe that is a sign that this place has taken a turn for the worse.
