Everything about Graeter's first-rate...their ice cream flavors, their chocolate chip size, their pastries, their customer service and the overall Graeter's vibe.

Just plain great ice cream and pastries. The staff are friends, know us and try hard to please. Love the butter pecan and the little lemon meringue pies.

This ice cream contains eggs, and while that may seem undesirable, it actually makes it better. It is better than gelato and closer to home. Cincinnatians can proudly take visitors to a local parlor and show off a myriad of world class confections. While the bakery is good, the ice cream is better and worth a drive. The Raspberry Chocolate Chip is the undisputed favorite but mine is the Coconut Chocolate Chip. During holidays, both new and familiar flavors are available.

Don't get me wrong. Their ice cream is good but it is not the 'best' as many Cincinnati residents would lead you to believe. It is average to slightly above average. Their vanilla is outstanding but the other flavors seem bland compared to other premium brands and even some specialty brands. The BEST ice cream in the general Cincinnati area is "Young's Dairy" located near Yellow Springs, Ohio 50 or so miles north of Cincinnati.
