I grew up loving Graeters. It used to be something different and special, a stand out. It's now just another ubiquitous ice cream parlor. Their motto once was "FOR THOSE WHO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE" There is no longer much difference other than the stand out melt in your mouth even if its cold chocolate chips. The butterfat is much lower than years ago and you no longer get that wonderful feel in the roof of your mouth that told you you were eating something truly different, and they have deevolved into silly novelty flavors. Perhaps to survive in todays market but that doesn't change the fact that they are no longer something special.

No matter what location, stop by and try this luscious treat. All ages, all seasons. Many flavors to try. I recommend the turtle sundae or nectar soda, but many people like the black raspberry chip ice cream. Ask for a loaf of their cinnamon bread to take home for yummy toast.
