“Great food, great view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

We went on our honeymoon. It was a torrential downpour and the place was rather empty. Nice a quiet for a romantic dinner. The view of the city was fabulous and so was the food. The wait staff were very knowledgeable and attentive. They even gave us complimentary tiramisu for our anniversary.

“Great for Date Night”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2013

I selected this for the first half of Date Night with my wife. The whole experience was awesome. The food was fabulous and the view was incredible. We had the Baked Brie for an appetizer. It was different than any I had ever had. It was served with roasted apples and caramelized onions. It was a different taste but still very good. We split the Dry aged Bone in Strip, which didn't compare to a Jeff Ruby's, but then I didn't expect that at The Celestial. The steak was perfectly prepared and split when it arrived at the table. It came with a choice of potato. We chose the baked potato, and it was very good also. We chose onion straws and mushroom risotto as our sides, just to make sure we got our starch intake for the evening. LOL. Both we fabulous as expected. Creme Brulee for dessert topped off a great meal. I would definately go back for another meal in the future

“Worst $35 plates we ever had”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2013

We used to love this place. It overlooks downtown Cincinnati and the food has always been spectacular. We had a birthday celebration there last night and I will never go back again. Three of nine steaks had to go back (more than once), all of the side dishes were cold and the service was terrible. NEVER AGAIN.

“Romantic Dining Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2013

Any trip to Cincinnati would be incomplete without a visit to The Celestial Restaurant in Historic Mt. Adams. Fabulous views of the downtown skyline and impeccable service combined with an outstanding menu and delicious dinner fare make for a wonderfully romantic evening.

“Make this the place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2013

This was the place of my first date with who is now my wife if this tells you anything. The romance is unavoidable here. Between the atmosphere or the magnificent view overlooking the Ohio river and lit up downtown Cincinnati. Its magical experience and oh yeah the food is delicious as well. You can't go wrong if you make this the place!
