Our plan was to go to the Louisville Jeff Ruby's, but they were closed because they had a shark tank malfunction. This was a real treat.
The atmosphere was charming and the menu selection was varied. we were impressed with the food, but the portion was excessive. I had a filet mignon, and my husband hd the cowboy steak. We shared a baked potato and sautéed mushrooms, in addition to a salad and a bowl of bisque.
Everything is a la carte, so it's not cheap, but this is a special occasion place.
The best part of the visit, though, was our outstanding wait crew, led by Tony, our waiter. Can't say enough good about the experience.
