The food here is fantastic, for those who enjoy classic comfort food with a twist of creativity to take things to the next level. There are a variety of starters from mussels to potstickers to roasted marrow to poutine. The poutine is a work of art - french fries with a rich gravy and tangy cheese , topped with beef short rib meat, a perfectly poached egg and scented with truffles. Mains include a number of sandwiches and gourmet hot dogs. The lobster BLT features buttery lobster in a brioche bun with sugary crispy bacon and basil mayo. The hot dogs are piled high with a variety of creative toppings, from the standard Chicago style to the Hello Kitty 2.0 - which featured wasabi mayo , wasabi peas, black sesame and crispy slaw. While the slaw paired well with the hot dog, I would have liked a touch more kick in the wasabi mayo to give it more edge. Sides include truffle fries, and the absolutely delicious truffled lobster mac and cheese. Needless to say we didn't make it to dessert, although what was coming out looked wonderful. There are a variety of cocktails , craft beers in bottle and draft, and wines. Value is quite reasonable with most dishes between $9-15. Having eaten in many of the restaurants in Cincinnati over the years, this is one you do not want to miss.
