“Nice place to be alone”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2012

This is a great place to go in virtually any season to walk or sit. Sometimes there are events and it gets crowded, so maybe go durng the week.

“a lot of lively things, also”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2012

while a cemetary has to have a serene feel, this one adds beauty of surroundings, ducks on many small ponds, beautiful mausoleums and a great arboretum.
on a warm sunny sunday, after church, we like to drive there with grandchildren and enjoy a walk thru the area, feed the ducks look at the flowers and just enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
good place for a short or long rest.

“A lovely, hilly, huge cemetery that you may drive thru”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2012

This wonderful cemetery is like a park. A free place to take a stroll over a Sunday drive, maybe a picnic.

“It may be a cemetery...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2012

But it is amazingly beautiful with wonderful gothic chapels, lakes and bridges. I have been in both winter and summer and both seasons behold a beautiful albeit sometimes stark location. A favorite for wedding pictures and the "after the I do's" pictures.

Civil war area!! It consists of 800 acres of the history of the American people, surrounded by trees, bushes, flowers, that are exceptional.
