I purchased admission tickets, ride tickets, drink tickets, and a parking ticket online in advance for our Festival of Lights evening night out on Satuarday, November 30th. We drove an hour to get to Cincinnati and it took more than 1/2 hour to get off the exit. After we finally got off the exit, we circled around the zoo many times to try to find a parking spot. Unfortunately, all the lots were full due to the nice weather. The zoo was closed at 10pm and we had been driving around for 2 hours not being able to find a parking slot. Our chance of finding a parking slot before 9pm was very slim. So we turned around to go home at about 7:30pm. My two little kids were very disappointed. I paid for our family of four to see the Festival of Lights and we weren't able to use any of the service and we can't get a refund. How could the zoo sell parking tickets in advance if it couldn't guarantee parking space for its patrons? Also, how could the zoo sell admission tickets in advance if it couldn't guarantee admission? There was no warning sign on their website indicating that purchasing tickets in advance at your own risk. If I had known that I might not have been able to get into the zoo due to the weather condition, I wouldn't have purchased those tickets.
