Cincinnati is very fortunate to have such an amazing zoo. The kids zoo area is amazing too. Don't forget about the beautiful plants and flowers throughout the park either.

“An Urban Oasis”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2012

The zoo is located in a rundown neighborhood in the hills north of the downtown. Once inside the urban surrounding is completely lost. The exhibits are unique easy to view and the bears, camels, big cats, elephants etc. give a very complete zoo experience. Our group had a delightful tour and I think this is a must for Cincinnati visitors.

Right up there with the San Diego Zoo in terms of quality and giving these creatures an environment that is as close to natural as possible.......right in the center of the city!
