“Reviewing this location does not require verbosity.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

It's an art museum. It has art from various time periods you can view.

It's in quite the nice building, interesting to look at.

It's situated inside of Eden Park, which is a beautiful park.

THE MUSEUM IS FREE.

Need I say more? Seriously, FREE. What reason do I have to give a free attraction with pieces of history inside anything less than 5 stars?

NONE GOOD SIR!

“Free but, $4 parking charge”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2013

You can forgo the parking charge, if you eat in the museum's restaurant. But the restaurant typically closes at 3:00, so your timing has to take that into account. We tho't that the American artworks were exceptional. There was such a feast of contemporary art, that we'll have to return in order to see "everything" that we wanted to enjoy. There are a few surprises--paintings by women for example. Vigee-Lebrun and Laurencin come to mind, as I write this. Helen Frankenthaler was married to male painter, Motherwell, for awhile and guess what?! The museum has artworks by each alongside each other. The paintings are spaced further apart than is typical of many American museums, so you can step back a little and "take in" the message or emotion of each piece. A place to return to again and again!

“Great collection of arts and great building”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013

I have been to a couple of decent art museums. This art museum in Cincinnati is definitely a must see. Great collection of art and great building. Make sure to walk around Mount Adams neighborhood all the way to Holy Cross Immaculata Church on Guildo St. to enjoy the church architecture and also a panorama of the city.

“Great community asset for free”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2013

This is not NYC quality but it is good and deserves a visit. Admission is free, nice lay out and the people are friendly. It is possible to spend an afternoon here, relax and enjoy the art. Only cost, four dollars to park.
