This is a fantastic hotel.

My wife and I stayed here in late October of 07.

This hotel is located in a great area which is just down a quiet road just away from the hustle of Fields Ertel Road which has plenty of shopping and restaurants. This hotel is less than five minutes to Kings Island (just a exit North the I-71.) The hotel is hard to see from the road as you have to enter on a traffic circle and the Springhill Suites is behind the other Marriott property the Town Place Suites which is also very nice.

Check-in was a breeze with very friendly staff, who allowed us to check in around 10:30 in the morning well ahead of the regular check-in time of 3:00 pm. That was a godsend as we came off a long eight hour drive.

The lobby has a large breakfast area with plenty of seating, and a large flat-screen television to watch during breakfast. The breakfast is wonderful with eggs, sausage, bagels, english muffins, danishes, oatmeal, yogurt, a make your own waffles station with all of the fixings. They also have milk, cereal, juice, tea, and coffee - you really couldn't ask for anything more.

There is a small pool, and a nice whirlpool spa located off the lobby, and a small workout room. There was also a free business centre to use in the lobby with free internet, and printer available.

For the rooms - the first thing is wow... they are very large and nice. Our room had two double beds, and a separate sitting area with a couch and chair, and a business desk with free high speed access. There was also a small kitchenette with a microwave, mini fridge, sink, and coffee maker. This is a nice touch. There was two 27" televisions, one in the sitting area, and one in the bedroom area.

The beds were so comfortable I almost slept through breakfast twice. The mattresses are very soft, with great pillows that you just sink into.

The bathroom is standard with a over sized bathtub, and toilet. The vanity is outside the bathroom in a small alcove. Overall, the hotels were very nice, although the housekeeping could do a slightly better job. It was very clean when we came in, but I would notice small things that were not 100% clean each day after the cleaning, nothing bad just could use more attention.

All of the staff were very nice, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

My fiance and I "named our own price" on priceline.com and were fortunate that Springhill Suites matched our price. This hotel was awesome for the $50 a night we paid!! Everything was new, the rooms were large and it was close in proximity to Kings Island and other area attractions. I hope that when we book our trip next year we're lucky enough to get this same hotel again!

This was a very nice hotel. We had a double suite which included 2 double beds, sofa bed, coffee table, desk w/internet, refrigerator, microwave, bar sink.

Pros: Proximity to Kings Island. Only 5 minute drive to the park. Kings Island is one exit north on I-71. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was "ok".

Cons: Bathroom had mildew on the wall and under the soap dish. Otherwise the room was clean. No wireless internet. Signage is horrible. If you aren't watching to your left as you drive down Waterstone you will never see the sign for this hotel.

  • Liked — Proximity to Kings Island.
  • Disliked — No wireless internet. Bathrooms need detailed cleaning.

We chose the Springhill Suites because it was the best value around King's Island. It is ablout five miles away. The hotel is as others say, very hard to locate. We drove there before we went to King's Island and I am glad we did, as I would never have found it in the dark. We were not allowed to check in early (11:00). There were a lot of kids there but they did not seem too out of hand--all seemed calm when we got back at 10:30 p.m. The kids did use the pool, but this is what we pay for, amd mine were closely monitored. If there have been problems at the pool encountered there by other travelers, then that was due to lax parenting. The breakfast was adequate with make your own waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, juice, coffee, and pastries. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We were able to fit 6 in the room with the sofa bed. I paid a discounted rate of $80 for the night and I would stay there again.

This hotel is ok. Front Desk Staff is friendly. Rooms could be cleaned a little better. Hotel has a lot of families staying over during the weekends.
The familes are out of control. They take over the pool, spa, and excercise room all day every day. Breakfast is overrun by familes. No place to sit. Kids run up and down the hallways yelling until 1230am. You call the front desk and they tell you they can't do anything. Only 1 employee in hotel.
If the hotel could keep the families from taking over the hotel, my stay wouldn't be too bad.
In addition, hotel is difficult to find. Its hidden behind a Townplace Suites.
