“Best of the best!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2012

My husband and I normally do not like B&B's, but we wanted to stay at a vineyard so we chose Girasole Vineyard & Inn for our first stay in Walla Walla. Our room was attractive and very comfortable. Hosts Edward and Michele were like old friends and we enjoyed them enormously. Edward's breakfasts are the best of any B&B or hotel we have experienced and we have travled extensively throughout the world. It was a five star breakfast! Michele gave us excellent advice on wineries and restaurants and we have good conversations about art and wine. It's a lovely place and we will go back.

This was only our third experience staying in a B&B and was by far the most enjoyable one. Ed and Michele couldn't have done anything more to make us feel pampered and welcome. The accommodations were wonderful - bed felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. Also, Michele took care of our tee times, (and we even got a special rate at Wine Country GC). We appreciated the restaurant suggestions for lunch/dinner as they were all spectacular. However, after eating Ed's magnificent and very hearty breakfast(s) we couldn't even eat lunch two of the days! They were also able to accomodate us with a continental breakfast when we had an early morning tee time. We just cannot wait to go back...our batteries are recharged!

Room Tip: We only saw the one we were in but I'm sure they were all as nice - this property was built with...

We chose Girasol Inn for a birthday getaway to Walla Walla. It's a beautiful setting with lovely, comfortable suites. The owners are very friendly and seem to have just the right style of providing hospitality while respecting the privacy of the guests. The suites are luxurious and beautifully decorated, and each has their own outside entrance and private patio. We especially enjoyed the gourmet breakfasts and pleasant conversations in the dining room. A walk in the vineyard and a nap in the hammock will melt your troubles away. We can't wait to visit Girasol again! Rich, Seattle

We stayed for three nights and could have stayed longer if only we were not due in Portland. The views from our private terrace of the Blue Mountains was amazing. One night we stayed there instead of going to Walla Walla and had wine and cheeses. If it had turned cool there was a chiminera already to light. Lovely stylish rooms with polished concrete floors and rugs. Big bathroom and walk in shower with heated towel rail and plenty of hanging space in the seperate room for luggage.Michelle and Edward wonderful hosts, very knowledgable on vineyards to visit and Edward a great breakfast chef.Do go you won't regret it.

I took my wife to Walla Walla for a surprise aniverisary trip this year. After reading the great reviews of Girasol, I decided to stay here for the weekend. I'm very glad that I did. While my wife lived in Walla Walla as a child, this was the first time either of us had been to the area for wine tasting and neither of us are what you would call experts. Michele and Edward were very helpful with information, and anything we needed to make our stay more confortable. The room was very nice and the setting was perfect for a romantic weekend getaway. I would definately recommend Girasol to anyone visiting the Walla Walla wine country, and the next time my wife and I go back, we will be staying there again.

We spent 3 nights over the 4th of July weekend at Girasol. If you are looking for peace and quiet, a location right in the middle of the Walla Walla wine country (Northstar, Rulo, Tertulia, Pepper Bridge all within a half a mile), and a relaxing, very comfortable stay away from the downtown wine scene, this is the place. The rooms are nicely sized, with a large private bathroom with a huge walk-in shower. Each room has its own patio looking across the vineyards to the hills to the southeast. An extra nice touch are the Mexican chimenea pot stoves outside each room, filled each morning with paper and kindling; We had a little fire every night as the sun went down. Edward & Michelle are gracious, but unobtrusive hosts. The sit down breakfasts every morning were superb.

Our very first trip to Walla Walla and what a find!! The Girasol Inn, amid a beautiful vineyard setting far exceeded our expectations. The Inn is lovely, the setting is peaceful, quiet and so beautiful. Our hosts, Edward and Michele were so gracious, welcoming, and helpful in ways that made our stay so much more fun. Chef Edward made the most AMAZING breakfasts. (How does 'creme brûlée French toast sound??) They are also very accommodating about special dietary needs. Though we had thought this to be a 'one time' trip to the area, we would definitely return if only to enjoy the beautiful 'serenity fix' and wonderful breakfasts at the Girasol Inn &Vineyard.
