“The best B&B experience in many years”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2009

My husband and I traveled to Walla Walla for a wine event with friends who highly recommended the Inn at Blackberry Creek based on their experience the previous year. We have enjoyed the culinary treats at most of the B&Bs we have stayed at, but seldom at this level. The tables were set in a very pleasing manner with home-made buttery petite pastries and cups of fresh fruit waiting our arrival. We were greeted personally, offered a menu of current selections and the daily egg dish. Each morning we were able to enjoy our morning fare at a leisurely pace with the good company of fellow travelers. While our friends raved about the breakfasts and cookies, we learned first-hand they are well worth the acclaim. Our friends were unable to stay at the Inn this year because they were traveling with a dog, but hoped we would share with them some of the much coveted and fondly remembered fresh baked evening cookies.

Our room was so very comfortable. The king-size four poster bed was dressed with cozy bedding and we each had a choice of feather, poly or foam pillows - amazing! The room was equipped with room darkening curtains and a small TV. We had a closet with mini fridge, roomy bathroom, and hot tub for two on our private deck. We also had the option of having breakfast on our deck.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Walla Walla, and in particular our room accommodations and breakfasts (and cookies) at the Inn at Blackberry Creek.

We stayed two nights while visiting the wineries of Walla Walla. We stayed in the Renoir room which had a private deck and hot tub, a mini-fridge and a wonderful bed. The breakfasts were spectacular and the setting was gorgeous! Highly recommended!

My husband booked this inn because it was our anniversay and he knows how much i enjoy B&Bs. He was pleasantly surprised at how much he liked Blackberry Inn. It was decorated in period, but comfortable with modern ammenites. The outdoor area was a beautiful garden area and the breakfasts great. The staff was very helpful without being intrusive. The inn was spacious enough that we felt we had the house to ourselves (and it was completely full the last night.)

The room was tastefully decorated and comfortable. Many ammenities were included, for example cold drinks in a small refrigerator. Breakfast was great...served on the deck overlooking the beautiful gardens and Blackberry Creek.

The Inn at Blackberry Creek is one of the best B&Bs that we have stayed at. Barbara, the host, is very personable and her breakfasts are out of this world. The Inn is conveniently located to drive to downtown Walla Walla.

The tree shaded grounds are great for relaxing as are the decks.

All in all a very enjoyable stay. We would definitely stay here again if in Walla Walla and will recommend it to famuly and friends.

What a little gem! We've stayed at a number of B & B's in our travels, and this one rates up there with the best of them. Our room (one of three that are available to guests) was charming, spacious, private, very comfortable and impeccably maintained... the common areas were equally wonderful. The Inn is located in a very quiet and green corner of Walla Walla... very convenient to downtown, local parks and the wine country. Sue, the sweetest host you will ever meet, was so helpful during our stay and greeted us each morning with a smile and wonderful service. Her breakfasts were great, substantial and included delicious home baked pastries as well as fresh fruit... If you appreciate the comforts of home, you will not find a better place to stay in Walla Walla.
Enjoy, L & E

We spent three nights at the Inn at Blackberry Creek. This was our second trip to Walla and our second time at the Inn.

It is tucked away on a private and beautiful property in town. Minutes from everything. We loved the pond right next door with a fountain, ducks, frogs.

No detail has been overlooked in restoring this wonderful old house and the grounds and gardens are just fabulous. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the house is yours to enjoy. Breakfast was top notch with fresh, healthy ingredients with a large selection from which to choose. Barbara Knudson, the innkeeper and creator of this beautiful environment, is a pleasure to meet. She knows all about the area and is a great source of information. We will return to Walla just to stay at the Inn!
