“A five rating is too low”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

Lovely, knowledgeable and helpful staff.. Hey, a wine cellar for guests to hold their wine purchases while visiting. Elegant surroundings inside and out. A different superb breakfast every morning. This trip was a 65th birthday gift from my wife and son. Can we soon repeat?

This is my first review on TripAdvisor. I don't normally bother, but our stay in little town Walla Walla was immensely enhanced by our stay at this super cute, canary yellow Victorian BnB. Sierra was awesome and made a special lactose free breakfast for me for our 2 mornings. My wife raved about the whipped cream. The fresh vegetables from their little garden made a big difference. The OJ was superb. And more generally, Walla Walla was a super stop. Great wines, very nice people without the crowds of Napa and Sonoma. We loved it!

The staff and amenities and Vine and Roses totally exceeded our expectations. The staff was wonderful and our room was gorgeous. The rehab of this Victorian beauty was exquisitely done and was so quiet that we were not sure anyone was even in the house. Breakfast was outstanding and they were more than happy to share their great recipes. I would highly recommend this B and B to anyone planning a Walla Walla getaway.

Thank you for your lovely review of Vine & Roses. We love it when our guests think they are the only guests for the evening, a true respite for each of you. The renovations were an act of love, so we are especially appreciative when our guests value the extensive and luxury planning and work that has taken place. Plus breakfast is just the icing on the cake. We send you off each day dreaming of heavenly foods. No need for lunch! And we are happy to share our recipes.
Thank you for recommended Vine & Rose so highly. We look forward to seeing you again some day soon!

Having stayed at many B&B properties over the years, it is always a great pleasure to find one so professionally run and maintained. All too often, some properties located in vintage houses show their age with squeaky floors and odd smells. However, Vine and Roses is not only restored, but completely refurbished with modern, high end fixtures, beds and a world class kitchen. The entire house is quiet, clean and comfortable. You are surrounded by amazing antiques that are seamlessly integrated into the environment.

Late check in was effortless and we found our room waiting for us without any assistance needed. The next morning, Sierra and team were hard at work making one of their amazing daily breakfast treats. We are gluten intolerant and they went the extra mile to for us to create unique and delicious options each morning. I also noticed that other guests who were vegetarian or vegan were treated with careful attention to their dietary needs.

Tips:
Parking is available off the street along the side of the house and towards the back. The driveway also provides a rear exit so you never have to back out.

While water is always provided in a tank downstairs, there are no bottles of water available. A suggestion would be to bring your own reusable bottle and fill up as needed.

Get down to breakfast early so you can snag one of the nice tables outside. On a warm morning, there is nothing better!

Room Tip: The Champagne Suite is in the front of the house and all of the windows face the main street. This i...

Our first trip to Walla Walla was quite memorable...from the town square to the hundred or so tasting rooms to (most of all) the Vine and Roses B&B. Situated across from Pioneer Park and its lovely aviaries, the B&B was of utmost comfort in every way. The grounds are gorgeous and walkable, and the rooms are handsomely furnished. We stayed in the Champagne Suite, located at the front of the building, so morning traffic could sometimes be heard; however, that did not detract from the experience. Excellent staff, great breakfasts, wonderful cookies: who could ask for anything more?

This is such a warm and relaxing B&B. The breakfast is fantastic and not to be missed. I loved the bed and tub and all the details. This place is a real treat for me. So convenient to walk to town or relax on the huge deck with a glass of wine from the days tasting. I will return.

We love, love, love returning guests! Everyone feels like family and the adventure like a holiday. A little chatting and everyone feels like they have come home again with laughter galore. We are thrilled that you enjoy the B&B so many times. Yes, walking to Pioneer Park or to town seems to be a favorite for our active guests. The Dogwood trees and spring flowers in bloom last week make the verandah a favorite place. Come again, come often, we love having return happy guests! Thank you for your wonderful review of Vine & Roses. Kathy

This is the most beautiful Victorian home and gardens I have ever seen. We stayed three nights in the Champagne Suite and it was awesome. The furnishings were luxurious, linens fantastic, jetted shower and two person soaking tub fabulous. The friendly staff cooked me a gluten free, dairy free, egg free breakfast each morning.

If you want a luxurious break, this is the place to take it. I will be back as often as possible.

Room Tip: All the rooms are beautiful but the Champagne Suite is spectacular!!!
