“Spotless rooms”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2012

We stayed one night at this Hampton Inn. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The fresh cookies were tasty. The rooms were spotless but the beds were a little hard for our taste. The weather was lovely and we made good use of the outdoor pool. The pool was clean and refreshing. We will be staying here again next time we are in Walla Walla.

Room Tip: It was sunny and warm so we got an east facing room, it was cooler in the evening.

I was expecting my stay to be a bit of a compromise because I was using points for a standard queen suite instead of my usual king studio suite, but I was very happy with my accommodations. Kudos to Jessica at the front desk for being so friendly and helpful. She went the extra mile to provide the amenities I requested while she was dealing with a steady inflow of guests and phone calls. Often times my only contact with hotel staff is at check-in, so that interaction can make or break the overall feeling of a stay, and Jessica represented the hotel in an exemplary way.

I was happy with my room which overllooked an open field and had a nice view to the east. It was very quiet and comfortable. The only negative was that the TV was ridiculously small, maybe 32 inches at best. Adequate, but certainly not impressive. Channel selection was good and internet was reasonably fast, though not the greatest.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. The Hampton brand tends to be consistent and priced well for budget conscious travelers looking for better than average amenities.

We loved this hotel. It's fairly new, decorated beautifully, has hot cookies, a very good breakfast, and really nice and helpful people at the front desk. It's just across from the Fort Walla Walla Museum grounds. The bedding was so lovely that we hated to get out of bed. The sheets smelled like Grandma's house. It doesn't get any better than that. I only wish all the other hotels I stay in were as nice as this with the same reasonable price.

We stay at quite a few Hamptons, they're the most affordable of the Hilton family of hotels, and I always get a great deal. This was a superb property. Just the breakfast room alone will blow you away! I found it plenty convenient to wine country, although it is a few miles away. Truly a place I will be looking forward to visiting again.

Room Tip: I can't think of any bad ones here. The setting is beautiful, and if you have time to admire th...

The hotel was very clean and we were greeted with warm cookies. ;) The front staff was very helpful, and when we found that our room didn't have a fridge or microwave, we called down to the front desk, and within 10 minutes they were delivered to our room at no extra charge. Now that is service! The full hot breakfast was great and they always had coffee and tea available any time of day or night.

The pool was an outdoor pool, which we never had a chance to use unfortunately. The location was nice, and away from hustle and bustle.

We would consider staying at this hotel again if in the area.

Room Tip: If you want a microwave and fridge, request it ahead of time, as the room did not have one.

Hampton Inn in Walla Walla is a fine establishment. I recommend the King bed with sleeper couch as the room is spacious and well designed. The bed was fine however my wife complained of backache after 2 nights. We were on the third floor and found the hotel to be extremely quiet and well appointed. The staff were quite friendly and always ready with a referral. On our first night we were advised to try the french restaurant in town on Main Street and were plesantly suprised. The food was excellent and moderately priced. The free breakfast offered by the hotel was fine. Hot eggs and sausage along with potato and waffels are there for the taking. Hot oatmeal is served as well. I especially appreciated the danish assortment and the fresh fruit they had put out. On the whole, I like Hampton Inns and plan to use them more frequently in the future as I have never had a poor experience in one.

My wife spent recent weekend at Hampton Inn in Walla Walla. The hotel is few miles outside of downtown. The hotel is very clean and the service was great. We received some free wine tasting coupons from our check in person. The rooms are nice size and have fridge and microwave. The free breakfast was good and had nice selection. The fitness center had newer equipment. There is business center with two PCs and printer. The hotel location is close to Safeway and other shops. You will need to drive to get downtown. There is shuttle but it is for airport. They should look into providing shuttle service to downtown. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if we visit Walla Walla in the future.
