“wonderful, quiet place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2012

A room with a view was fantastic. Just outside town, but a short drive to downtown and wineries, in the country with views of farms. The food was great and Eileen is a fabulous hostess. We were there during the meteor shower in August and when we woke up in the middle of the night we discovered that Eileen had left us a blanket outside (evenings are chilly in Walla Walla, even in the summer). It was so thoughtful. We had a quiet, restorative, fun time, and Eileen both gave us our space and chatted with us when we felt chatty. We highly recommend staying there.

Elegant welcoming decor, an amazing hostess Eileen Greenwalt, and extremely delicious breakfast await you at this wonderful B&B. Our favorite room is downstairs as it has French doors that open onto it's own patio with all the WallaWalla views you could want! Of course there are so many other seating areas with equally picture perfect views. We love it here. Thank you Eileen, George and Carolyn

A room with a view was a very pleasant experience for us! We had booked a hotel that got horrible reviews and were literally on our drive over to Walla Walla when Eileen said she could help us! The decor is absolutely adorable, clean, and welcoming. Eileen is such a kind host, great breakfast, great service! The views were beautfiul and we saw a lightening storm right on the balcony of our suite. Would definitely stay here again, great trip!

A Room With A View was such a treat, and surprise for us! Having never stayed at a B & B we were hesitant but with all the great reviews decided to take a chance. It was all that and more. Eileen was such a great hostess, the location was fabulous and the Patio Room was perfect. I'd highly recommend staying here and can't wait to go back! Thanks Eileen!!!

A wonderful base to explore Walla Walla. Comfortable, quiet, Romantic, perfect. The downstairs bedroom is very Romantic. We have spent the last 2 spring release weekends with another couple at this wonderful little getaway. Eileen puts together a wonderful breakfast and gives us the privacy we desire for a wonderful weekend away experience. We are almost looking for better opportunities but it's hard to beat A ROOM WITH THE VIEW.

A Room With a View was an excellent choice for a weekend in Walla Walla. We stayed in the patio suite and enjoyed the tranquil valley view even though it was too chilly for sitting outside being early April. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, the location was convenient and breakfast was filling and delicious. We are looking forward to another visit...

My husband & I stayed in the Patio Room & friends stayed upstairs. We loved the view of the fields and the serenity of the location combined with proximity to vineyards and to Whitman College where we were attending a reunion. We very much enjoyed Eileen's home & hospitality. We look forward to our next visit.
