“Worst Ever!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2009

I will never book a place without reading a review from Trip Advisor again. This was the worst place you can ever stay at. We were charged $140 per night, and I would say it is worth $25 per night. Everything was old, run down, leaking or broken. The city should condemn the place, as it is not adequate for anyone to live in. I did not feel safe at all!!! Their website is a total lie.

I can't believe that I'm going to be saying the same things that were said a year ago about this hotel. We were with a group of friends in town for a wine event. Unfortunately the person that chose this hotel didn't know about Trip Advisor or I'm sure we would have been somewhere else. Our room was the best of the lot but you could barely see out the window as the seal had failed and it was full of condensation. One couple were moved to 4 different rooms as doors didn't lock, water wouldn't shut off in the shower etc.

The pool was mostly drained but was full of green slimy algae but the gate to it was wide open, an obvious safety hazzard. It's clear that the owners of this property are short on money.

This is worst motel I have ever stayed in. Someone broke into our room. The door locks do not work. Almost every room has something wrong with it. Stay at your peril!

Booked this on Hotwire, billed as a two star place. Got there, walls are cinderblock, shower is leaking, door sticks, and no internet available despite being advertised as such. It appears to be a place where no one has cared about upkeep in a very long time. I called Hotwire and asked for a refund. After checking it out on this website, they agreed that "there seems to be a problem with our rating service with this property." They refunded my money and I went to the local La Quinta, which was much better. I would avoid this property at all costs.

I wish we had chosen any other motel in Walla Walla. The bathroom was filthy--feces smeared on the shower curtain and some on the floor. Since it was so late at night, we didn't leave, but told the desk clerk the next morning, specifically asking for the floor to be scrubbed and the curtain changed. The person at the desk was not very sympathetic nor helpful. They did give us a clean shower curtain but the floor and shower weren't cleaned, and the sink and counter by the sink weren't washed either. The bed linens were clean and newish. THe exterior and public spaces are tired, worn and need some cleaning. We couldn't wait to leave this dump.

  • Liked — Nearness to downtown
  • Disliked — Filthy bathroom

I would agree with everyone else, if you have any lodging options, go there first. I was here for my college 25th reunion, and I swear, it looked about the same 25 years ago. Little things like sweeping the parking lot and the carpeting in front of our door. Mold in the shower, holes in the wall. Old banquet chairs sitting on our porch, dandelions and peeling paint everywhere....yuk!

  • Liked — it was across the street from the college
  • Disliked — it was dirty

The room we checked into was a disaster: dead bugs in the bathroom, a broken sliding door, electricity that kept flickering on and off -- and, worst of all -- the shower faucet wouldn't turn on. When we contacted the front desk, they did swiftly and politely move us to another room. The second room was a bit dated (torn lampshades, etc.), but had no major problems.

The location is close to amenities in downtown Walla Walla, and the continental breakfast wasn't bad for this class of hotel.
