We recently stayed 2 nights and thought it was great! It was connected to the Rainbow Casino, which was nice because we didn't even have to go outside to get to the casino. The staff was really great and were so friendly and helpful. We especially liked the indoor pool and whirlpool. I think it is the nicest indoor hotel pool we have seen - and the only hotel in the area with one, we found out! The breakfast was delicious. The rooms were very clean and we really liked having all the amenities they had. like the microwave and refirigerator, the coffee and coffeepot, and the wireless hi speed for my laptop. The front desk person told us they had recently remodeled, and you could really tell. Everything was so nice! We will definitely stay here again when we are in the Vicksburg area. It was near everything we wanted to see and do and the price was great. We are so glad we stayed there!

I stayed in this hotel for two nights. These were the worst two nights of my life. I had to be moved twice for ants. One of the receptionist at the front desk had the nerve to tell me that I brought the ants in the hotel. If you're looking for a cheap room without comfort, this hotel is for you. However, if you are looking for comfort, please go somewhere else!

We stayed at Amerihost on Sept 7th and 8th. We were very pleased with the accomadations. Microwave, coffeepot, and refrig. in the room. We also enjoyed the hot tub and pool (inside and heated!) Very nice experience

Decided to stay on a Saturday night here; and in a nutshell, it's simply a two-star Day's Inn Hotel. Mosquitos are awful in this area during the warmer months. The hotel is less than a mile away from an oil refinery, so the air outside is a little smelly. The hotel room itself is nothing to go crazy about, but I would have to agree with someone else wrote about this hotel, housekeeping is certainly lagging (the bathroom wasn't as cleaning as it should have been). The casino is small, but the crowd is lively. Like nearly all the casino's in Vicksburg, there only a few table games and large number of various slot machines. The buffet is ok, but not something you are going to tell your kids about (keep in mind the focus is on quantity rather than quality).
