“What a wonderful surprise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2011

My Husband and I try to have a date night two and three times a month, sometimes local (Vicksburg) or Jackson. We were told about Anchuca from some friends and decided to give it a try. The atmosphere, service, and food was wonderful! Our Meal was brought in a timely manner and was delicious from start to finish. The Chef came to each table asking if everything was to the guest liking...what a wonderful gesture! We will definately return again, and again! If your from Vicksburg I strongly suggest giving it a try...if your not and are in our lovely City please check it out! You wont be disappointed :)

“GREAT meal in V'burg”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 15, 2011

My wife and I go to V'burg 1-2 times a year so we have eaten at most places, Bourbons, Cedar Grove, Anchuca, Borrelo's/Duffs, etc. This is THE best! Andre's at Cedar Grove used to rival it, but has gone way downhill.

“Not 5 Star; A Solid 3”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2011 via mobile

The setting is nice, but not elegant. The staff are pleasant, but service is slow. The room was cold and we needed to keep our winter jackets on during the meal. The food is average, nothing more, nothing less.

“Cafe' Anchuca is the Best in Vicksburg MS”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2011

Have eaten here many times since the cafe' has been open. The food is always cooked to perfection. Presentation is lovely. An enjoyable meal in a beautiful historical setting. Step back in time to a more relaxing atmosphere. After your meal, check out their cookbook for sale.
