After spending one night at the Marriott Waikiki the Aqua Lotus was a welcome oasis from the giant outdoor shopping mall that is most of Waikiki. There are so many reasons I loved this place. The location was perfect. The staff all went above and beyond in service and friendliness. The room was gorgeous an very clean. The hospitality was second to none! Are you going to the beach? Here is a beach chair for you! Heading out to explore? Take one of our bikes! Ready to relax? Have a glass of wine!
I will be making an effort to stay here again, and to spread the word to anyone and everyone about this AMAZING place!

Have been travelling to Oahu/Hawaii for years. First time staying at the Aqua Lotus. Clearly, Management focuses on service and overall comfort for their guests. Staff is always smiling and friendly. Rooms are newly renovated, ultra clean and spacious. Views from guest suites are ocean view or of the incredible Diamond Head crater. Beds are comfortable and BIG. One of the best experiences ever in the islands. Incredible location, easy access to the beach/nightlife/restaurants, at the eastern edge of Waikiki near Diamond Head, right across the street from the Kapiolani Park, which is the finish line for the Honolulu Marathon. Close to the Waikiki Aquarium and the Honolulu Zoo. Great property, friendly staff, outstanding experience. Perfect location for business or vacation. This medium-sized boutique property is a genuine competitor with the "big-box" hotel chains. Will be back for sure.

Truly flawless experience with the staff, a great room, and beautiful area that seems a little quieter / less annoying than that of the hotels further north.

Bathroom is relatively no frills, but clean and nice, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in.

Some potentially useful insight for first time visitors:

- There's parking and a valet, helpful if you'd like to get some basic groceries, which you can put in the mini-fridge. There's a Whole Foods in a reasonably drivable distance. The market next door is convenient but pricy, and the only liquor source in the area.
- Call the front desk for a taxi, it'll be there within minutes (for late night dining/drinking).
- Bicycles are available from the valet with no hassle, and make short work of a ride downtown.
- If you're there for the Honolulu Marathon, buses to the start are about a 15 minute walk away, it is still quite convenient.
- The beach next door is pretty great! Borrow some chairs from the front desk.
- No restaurant at the time, but basic food available for breakfast on the 2nd floor.

Likely to be home base for next year's visit.

The Hotel is very clean. They have the best staff, they are always willing to help you with anything you need. The location is away from all the tourist buses and noise of Waikiki, which is great! everything within walking distance to the hotel. I'm sure your enjoy your stay, as I did.
