I was very pleased with this hotel. After reviewing alot of hotels in the area, it seemed that the "budget" options (not a resort) were going to be a little less than desirable, so I was prepared for the worst. It was a very pleasant surprise when we arrived to find a helpful friendly staff, a great location, a beautiful view. We liked it so much, we returned for another night the next week. Our first room was an ocean view, so much more desirable than the triple/quad we went for the 2nd time, but we were aware of that when booking. The rooms themselves are outdated and showing considerable wear, but we weren't there to spend all our time in the hotel, if that is your plan then go for the resort category. But, the rooms were clean/comfortable, with a mini fridge and coffee maker, the a/c was sufficient for cooling the room (even in the mid afternoon hot sun with large sliding glass doors). When we had a maintenance issue, they were prompt and courteous in correcting it. The lanai and view from the ocean view room was beautiful (room 1602). There is an ABC store (convenience store) right off the hotel lobby, a friendly concierge to help you book your activities, a hotel bar with drink specials! And it was located within walking distance of the beach and local shopping/restaurants. The 2nd room (the triple/quad) was less impressive without the view, but still completely satisfactory. I would definately select this hotel again in the future.
Definately go for the ocean view rooms. The room decor is outdated and worn, you won't notice i...
