Nice Hotel but sometimes a little bit to dirty. The rooms werent cleaned as they should be.

But the staff und service was friendly and we used the hotel only for sleeping so it was ok.

Cant say anything about the restaurant because we ate in other restaurants at Waikiki.

Thank you so much for taking the time to give us feed-back on your recent stay. We truly appreciate all feed back as it only helps us get better. I have also reached out to you under separate e-mail for the room number and dates of stay - as I would like to bring up the cleaning issue with our Director of Housekeeping as clealiness is very high on our priority list. We are so happy that you enjoyed the service that our staff provided - they are a great team and I will bering those comments up with our Director of Rooms to pass along. I am sorry that you were not able to try our restaurants - maybe on your next visit. We do hope that you will come back and visit us again in the near future and I would be delighted to look after your reservation. I can be reached at graycem@hthcorp.com or 808-441-4857. We stayed here as a stop over before flying to Maui. It is definitely a Tour Group stop-over. The restaurant with huge live fish tank & mermaids(at 5pm) was over-run with tour groups so we did not eat here. There is a guest laundry on the 4th floor also a cold pool & hot spa. This hotel is right over the road from the beach which is a huge plus also there is a ABC store in the foyer. We walked to Starbucks for tea & coffee but there is a coffee maker in room. Shower over bath & toilet bathroom area is very small.

The place is decent, clean, and well-run. Its location is fantastic, it is right on the beach and close to shopping, the zoo, and other fun stuff. Another plus is that there is much to do within easy walking distance which is great for seniors and families with kids.

Room Tip: ASk for an upper floor room with a view of the water and/or Diamond Head.

We stayed in this Hotel 3 years ago. I found it ok last time, but noticed a big improvement from our last stay. The rooms seemed fresher and cleaner, not that they were bad last time. The breakfast buffet has also improved greatly.

We didnt think twice about coming back here and would not think twice about it the next time we stay in Waikiki.

Great position, good rooms, great price and great customer service.

Room Tip: Go to get the Oceanfront room, fantastic views!

Our family spent 3 nights at the Pacific Beach hotel during the 3rd week of September after spending 3 prior nights in Turtle Bay North Shore.

Overall we had a pleasant stay at this place. The location is excellent being just about across the street from Waikiki beach, and the price was reasonable for Waikiki.

Our arrangement included coupons for breakfast buffets which turn out to be a big time savers and allow us to start the day with a full tummy. The buffet had both western breakfast items (eggs, sausages, pancakes, french toast, potatoes, yogurt, cereals, fresh cut island fruits, large varieties of pastries... too much to name) and a generous Japanese breakfast spread (fried rice, brown rice, porridge, grilled fish, cooked vegetables, soups, numerous condiments, salad bar... too much to name). On top of that, you get to sit next to a 2 story high aquarium with beautiful fishes & stingrays... We loved it!

The room accommodation was very clean and came with good beddings, however decor was dated. We were on the 17th floor with a partial view of the Ocean. I consider the room setting to be similar to a Comfort Inn level, which fitted us fine. There was an additional $20/day parking fee (common in Waikiki), which will add up the bill. For the breakfast buffet, cleanliness, location & proximity to the beach, I think this hotel has very good value.

Stayed at the Pacific Beach Hotel for 4 nights, arriving late off a long trip to Honolulu. Check-in was painless, if a little robotic, and the room was spacious and clean. OK, so the hotel may be something from the 1960s or 1970s, but seemed modern enough, and reasonably well maintained and kept up to date.

The hotel is fairly large, so it's not the place to be if you want personal attentive service - we really only saw staff on checking in, checking out, and occasionally housekeeping around the hotel.

Negative things? Well the lifts/elevators were slow at times - waiting a few minutes a couple of times for them to arrive. It does seem a little souless as a hotel - but hey, not sure in somewhere as busy as Waikiki you can expect much else. The pool was small and quite uninviting - but then you have the beach directly opposite.

Positives? Right on the sea front - 2 minutes from a reasonably good stretch of beach to enjoy and swim in. Pretty good room and clean throughout. Nice bathroom freebies! Even though on side of hotel still had view of ocean.
