My family of five stayed here during Spring Break and we had an awesome time. The rooms were large enough to accomodate us. The sofa turned into a bed. We had two queen beds with partial view of the ocean. I say partial only because there were buildings obstructing the view. Bathroom was modern and clean. In-room safe for our valuables. Free breakfast and wi-fi. Breakfast could use a little variety though. Service was pretty efficient. Waikiki beach is a 5-minute walk and close to restaurants and shopping. You have a choice of whatever takes your fancy. Transportation is easy. Ride on the trolleys for a quicker ride to points of interest. The Bus is cheaper $2.50 adults, $1.25 kids but is slower with frequent stops. If you're going sight seeing book a trip at the hotel lobby where they have Expedia local experts who will arrange everything for you. Pearl Harbor tour arranged thru them with the $55 Day Pass takes you to every site. They also arranged a tour of the North Shore and the island with Hawaii Turtle Tours. We had a blast with Eric our guide who showed us around. Plan for a whole day. Fumi's shrimp shack was delicious! Stop by the Old Sugar Mill and taste their Waialua coffee. Secret beaches and snorkeling. Thanks Hyatt Place and Hawaii Turtle Tours for making our vacation a great one.
