“Perfect Location... in a month or two”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2013

The hotel itself is great. Room appointments are good, especially given the odd shape a circular hotel allows.
Lots of construction noise from the new McDonald's being built next door made the balcony all but useless to enjoy during the day. Access to the beach was fantastic though, so who needs the balcony anyway?
Beds were uncomfortable - probably need a new mattress.

Room Tip: Opt for the partial ocean view to save some money. You can just turn the chairs on the balcony to e...

Location: Location! Location! Directly opposite Waikiki Beach with both protected and open beach directly across the road. An ABC Store downstairs is very convenient as is the onsite café. Great central location.
Room: (Ocean Front). WOW! Stunning water/Waikiki views daytime, awesome sunsets and night time lights. The recently refurbished room felt very Pacific with colors of the sea. Comfortable bed and always clean room. The bathroom was a little small (but who stays in a bathroom in Waikiki!!). From the balcony, some street noise but for the location - it cannot be beaten.
Service: WOW! Checked in late PM with a lovely Aloha welcome from a very friendly and helpful lady at Reception. Daily service was unobtrusive and when we did see cleaning staff, they were always so friendly, happy and smiling with an Aloha greeting every time.
Facilities: Reception always friendly and attentive and very helpful. Tour desk staff helpful too. Internet access at Reception is good. 'Free' DVDs ok (paid for in amenity fee) while some didn't work (possibly an external company look after these). Eggs'n' things - an onsite café/restaurant open for breakfast through brunch and dinner. Good value if you can wait in the daily queues - a testament to how popular the place is and worth the wait for good food at reasonable prices. Staff always friendly and very helpful. If your order is for one take-out - you can jump the queue with the staff taking order on mobile and you pay at counter - much quicker! (McDonald's is opening soon too (says opening Summer 2013) - right next door!
Pool: The pool was always clean, a beautiful turquoise blue with great views and is very popular - it's called Waikiki Beach!..directly opposite the Hotel...It's Awesome! :-)
For: Location and such friendly and helpful staff. A very welcoming, relaxed atmosphere where nothing seems a problem.
Against: Stay was too short! only 7 nights.
Overall: Very friendly staff in a casual, relaxed setting in a great location.

Room Tip: Ocean Front high floor

After what seemed like forever,(about 18 hrs)we arrived in Hawaii and a pre-arranged taxi got us to our hotel . The Aston Waikiki Circle, I thought it looked pretty ordinary but I was very tired and just wanted some sleep. at reception the friendly receptionist informed us that the rooms we had booked wern`t actually available, but for a small suppliment we could upgrade to a better room, after much discussion and explaining that it had been booked and confirmed months ago we reluctantly agreed to an upgrade. the upgraded room was OK, and we took it.the hotel is directly opposite the beach and this is its main selling point.please note there is no swimming pool though and sunbeds on the beach are very expensive, seriously expensive.as previously mentioned by others the air conditioning is extremely noisy, not that it bothered me,traffic was also very noticable, all in all though, we enjoyed our stay at this very centrally located hotel, we did loads of trips, ate some super food and had a thoroughly good time, our daughter got married at a local venue and our group,(20) constantly met up in each others hotels, the night we checked out a very tired couple were at reception and we heard the receptionist tell them sorry the room you are requesting isn`t available but for 10-15 dollars we can upgrade yoyu to a better room!! ps Forgot to mention the building site next door.

Room Tip: rooms are much of a muchness, most seem to have partial ocean view ,but other no view worth looking...

This is the third time that I have stayed at the Circle. Go back each time because of the great location, service and staff. Like past visits, the location is the same. Across the road from the beach, the staff are the usual friendly and helpful and the room is always clean and comfortable. If you are looking for over the top luxury or space than maybe this is not for you. If you are after honest clean quiet accomodation than give it a go. Do try to get a high room floor as the lower floors can be a little noisy due to the traffic and Eggs and Things eatery on the ground floor. But overall very happy with the stay.

Room Tip: The floor from about 6 up are better due to the traffic and Eggs and Things on the ground floor.

Excellent location, good prices and very nice staff.
We stayed in an ocean front room and loved sitting on the balcony watching people walking past.
Directly across the road is the beach, which is fantastic.
The only thing that was irritating is the lady that sits downstairs trying to get you into a "special deal of the day". Every time we walked past, she would pester us!

Room Tip: When booking, pay the extra for an ocean front room!

We stayed at this hotel for one night precuise on April 24,2013 The location is outstanding !!!! It is right across the street from Wakiki beach. It is in a great location! We had and Ocean front room on the 14th floor. We had a fabulous view of the ocean. It was magnificent. The room were smal but more than enough room for two people. The staff were very nice and helpful. Our flight landed early and we we able to check in early. Spend the extra dollars and get an Ocean front room. The view is so worth it!! If you are looking for a hotel like the outriggers or some of the other more expensive hotels this hotel is not for you. if you want a hotel with great views of Ocean and clean rooms with a nice staff. Give this hotel a try. There were plenty of places to eat and shop. The hotel is right across front the beach. Everything is within walking distance. All of the rooms have balconys. they will also store your luggage for you if it is needed. Ask for a rooms on the 10th floor and up, that way it wont be as noisy.Would definitely stay here agan . the beds were comfortable. Rooms were basic but clean. There is no room service but plenty of eating places within walking distance. Do Give this hotel a try. For the price you cant beat it. It was the cheapest hotel I found on the strip.
